You can get a blu ray player for less than that.

The touch's internet is wi-fi, not the Edge system. Chances are, if I'm close enough to get a wi-fi signal (especially one not password protected), I'm close enough to a computer to use.

Just doesn't seem worth the dough to me. Thoughts?

Just too much money.......The Zune has had Wi-Fi built in since the last firmware upgrade.  &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Apple knows they have people that will buy this stuff with no questions asked.  Damn crime........&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;But if they can do it.......God bless thier little souls.

I have nothing against Apple. I love their products. I'm definitely a Mac person. But I can't see myself shelling out $500 for an Ipod touch when the IPhone and the PS3 and most other cool technology is cheaper.

I mean, I guess they couldn't go lower based on the price increase from the 8GB, but who would pay $500 for an Ipod?

With the way I've been capping lately, it's a long ways away!
