the weirdest shit happened to me (please read)

So I get on my computer today. I open up windows and all of a sudden my Norton Antivirus thing pops up saying It has attempted to block a malicious malware virus. Then a FBI window pops up saying my computer has been locked for gambling and blah blah blah. Wtf?? Is thisjust a hacking attempt or are the feds really watching me? This sounds crazy but it really happened. It also popped up with my webcam on recording me. This shit is out of a movie lol I'm not big time gambler. I only have 1k in my account. Thoughts?

I did. It said my computer has been locked and I gotta pay 200 within 48 hours to get it unlocked.

It says I have to pay it thru Moneypak or some shit. Wtf kinda shit is this.? The feds is watching me?? Lol this gotta be some sort of virus

Has happened to me.  Just a virus.  No FBI or Justice Department or anything like that.  The best way to resolve (and the way I resolved it) is to restore your computer to a period prior to when the virus hit.  If you think it was last night, restore your computer to yesterday morning or the day before.  Good luck!

will your anti virus run a scan? I agree with Bling, google it and it will come up hopefully with a course of action.  I got rid of Norton a long time ago and have had much better success with Kaspersky as an FYI...

malaware virus. i just had to get rid of it off my brother in laws computer.
LOG IN SAFE MODE  w/ networking
then down load MALEWAREBYTES & SUPERantiSPYWARE
AND RUN THEM

Feds are NOT watching you. this is some scam. IF your able to post your computer is obviously "unlocked"

btw, Norton is garbage. my old computer got infected with a "malware" SO nasty I had to take it to my local repair shop and have it cleaned. with my new HP Pavilion P7-1254 I had the shop install AVG Anti-Virus which has been MUCH better and doesn't use the RAM that Norton did. the new machine runs MUCH faster

Exact Same thing happened to me. Just restart in safe mode and go back to a previous time and restart. Good luck. No feds just crooks(same thing)
