Here is the service pack everyone wants.  Now take note.......
 
This is a release canidate, not the final release.  It could have some.......who the hell am I kidding.  It will have some bugs in it.
 
Read everything very carefully before you install this.

You try it yet?  Just curious if this will improve things similar to how XP was improved once the service packs started coming

Yes, we put it on a couple of our test machines.  It detects older hardware much better and there are more controls to turn off that damn prompting for everything. 

It's good so far, but we are still testing

Will it give me control of a damn pop-up balloon from windows?
I blocked a program at start-up(vid codec) with defender and every 20-30 seconds this balloon pops back up from my task bar. The user control prompt is nothing once you get your system set where you want it AND its a bit of security, but that damn balloon is a pain in the ass!

Me not like Vista on the IBM laptop.

Tried to install printer drivers for a 2 yr old Lexmark AIO, spent 2 hrs and got nowhere.

Oh and my yahoo messanger issue isnt better, likely my cable wireless modem.

So is this service pack of some great use?

It does give better driver support.

That Service Pack is Beat Release. Still there to be an Service pack for the Windows XP. WIndows Xp is more comfortable and easy than using vista , some news say.... Still Some Desktops and Laptops ship with XP Professional.
