Alcaraz Berretini

Why is Vegas constantly making this kid a favorite? He might be the most mentally weak player in the ATP. 

I think there’s value with the Italian AGAIN today. 

Alcaraz is definitely still overhyped some. But he is only getting better and Berrettini is not exactly built for clay. I got no horse in this race yet. Best of luck.

Fair enough. Shoulda done my research. I just look at Matteo and don't think he would have the mobility needed for clay. But yeah, I see a lot of impressive wins vs clay specialists. That being said, I didn't realize Matteo was a literal underdog in this match line. I would still have had him as a favorite.

Smells like a trap line to me. I did like seeing Berrettini celebrating small victories in his match against Thiago. Says he wants to be there. Last year he went into the Masters clay season right from hard court so it might be that he’s here to warm up (maybe even push to win) before he gets to the Monte Carlo.

But putting him as the dog as the higher ranked player and with a better clay record just smells fishy to me. He’s playing in next weeks Tourny in Mexico against thicker competition so it leads me to think he might want to get there early.

No one at the moment. Went hard on Vukic last night and Fognini this morning, but got burned by Sousa. Berrettini makes sense for the value, I guess. I also wonder how playing at 1am last night will affect Alcaraz.

-950 after the first set win on the live odds. Obviously Vegas never seen this kid play before apparently. He’s a massive head case. 

Rain delay saved the kid. I actually got in on him -130. Now lets go West Virginia +5!
