I'm actually quite shocked at this Mirra line for tomorrow.
The book’s obviously can tell she’s got high public opinion. She was around -900 for most of her matches this week.
I think you're right though. No one knows how she’s going to fare here. Making her a slight dog doesn’t feel right to either side. It’s not enough of a dog to risk much and there’s too much juice to push heavy on Fernandez.
The last teenager to come from WTA this young that I can remember with this much anticipation was Hingis. I remember her winning matches right away. Nevertheless, we probably wont get too many opportunities to play Andreeva as a dog.

@AverageAllstar
exactly my point......when my book finally listed her odds for tomorrow I was honestly shocked. Not sure exactly what I was expecting but was hoping for something like +3.5 or +4 and to my surprise it was no where near that. oh well

@BIGDTITLE
So what does that mean for us? Stand pat or take the +money while its offered?
I think you’re right, Fernandez will be a wake up call in that the pro circuit is different than ITF, but I hate to sound insensitive, it’s the WTA. You have the top ten and then the next 150, no?

I can't see her winning this I'm afraid, 1.65 now on Leylah. Mirra almost lost against Ferro last week and saved 3 MB against Naef the week before.
We forget that Leylah is a great talent herself, she won French Open for girls back in 2019 and played US open final 2021 and QF in the french open 2022 and she is only 20 years old.
I think for this week we should look at Turkey instead Istanbul 3 ITF.
Where we have 15 year old Korneeva Alina, who beat Mirra in the AO open final for girls earlier this year, she is 12-1 this year, but not as well know as Mirra. tennisexplorer.com don't even have her date of birth or a picture of her.
I think she will win this tournament and will go with her this week. 1.40 on her in the first round.. that's the kind of price we got last year on Mirra.

16 year old Fruhvirtova Brenda dominated the ITF tour last year, winning 8 titles and over 50 wins then she played WTA her first 5 games:
Vedder Eva (Ranked: 300) - WIN
Sherif Mayar (59) - LOSS
Stevanovic Natalija (186) - LOSS
Carle Maria Lourdes (162) - WIN
Baindl Kateryna (82) - LOSS
Big different

Maia looks good, she will take this 2-0 I'm afraid, so much more experience and so much more variety of shoots. At the moment she only losing her own unforced errors

Mirra +300 ML worth a muff dive
Does Mr. Belarus take a friendly fire dive to allow Ms. Vodka her shining moment on the largest stage pre-French Open?
Saba really has nothing to lose by being the gracious fixer here,,,knowing she will have a chance to fight Iga in the finals at Roland Garros
Speaking of Muff Dives,,,Oxman hope you are okay brother wherever you are
