ATX Kessler -2.5 (-125)
MERIDA Elina Avanesyan +3.5 (-110)
I don't know what match you are referring to since none of these matches involved a retirement.
But to answer your question, if the first set is completed then a retirement results in either a void (if your player retires) or a win (if your player advances). Most reputable books that I'm aware of follow this policy.

Like yesterday if for some reason you bet Saville ML it would be a winner.
And couple days ago I had Sonmez ML as the last leg of a parlay with a large payout so I hedged a bit with Linette ML who retired second set. My Sonmez bet won and I got a void on my hedge.

@Tittylankaluver
Dang, bet that sucks when someone retires down big.
Spreads and totals are voided if not determined though. And any retirement before completion of first set is void.

I think most of the major American books handle it like this because if they didn't they would put themselves at a competitive disadvantage, both internally and externally.
If someone gambles here there's like a 99% chance that American Football is at least one of the sports they bet on. For many it's the only one, or for some football and basketball. But the books want you to branch out more. They run big promos for the slams because it brings in the people who only think about tennis a few times a year. And if that type of person bet on Badosa last night and lost due to injury they might not be too eager to bet on tennis again.
And then the avid tennis bettors would simply take their action elsewhere if their book moved away from favorable policies.

Bring
2 WTA finals later
Who do well bet against
Pegula...mentally weak
Navarro the choker
I can't see both fans winning and the underdog lines are inflated I think...

I'm thinking two titles today for Kessler.

Thanks man!
I played Clarie Liu and Withney to both win a set, and put that all winning on Withney to the 3rd set
