Wawrinka line held steady at -175 all day long...im a bit shocked with these odds...the tea leaves point to a Berankis win as a +137 dog...but i am too chicken to take it...should be an interesting match indeed if Wawa starts slow

was thinking the exact same thing. Why is no one pounding -170 or -175? I think Berankis has a shot here myself.

I took the Kokk to win. Not going to fall for this trap. But Wawrinka also looked like a trap and he's cruising so who the hell really knows what happens

He could...but its Donald Duck hes playing...i could look decent against him....dont read too much into djokers 1st match....his elbow and arm could turn into jello come middle of next week.
Fyi...local Aussie wildcard Aiaya is beating Halep 1st set...wow she looks like a young Serena...seriously...mental note this girl for future upsets.

Dodin ML +275 (half unit)...ingame wager with her up 6-5 on serve in the 2nd set...i smell a pintys chicken blow up coming soon here...banking on Dodin winning this 2nd, and winning the 3rd in a blowout...Genie is as big a mental midget as they come these days.

Nishioka ML +137....young legs very old legs...gimme the young kid here who everyone is raving about...beating Kohlly in 5 sets must have done wonders for his confidence...now to take out another old timer hanging onto his career...Seppi a slight fav here based on name brand recognition in my opinion...line should be a pickem here.
Tsonga -2.5 games (-110)...I have to believe this is actually a dream match scenario for Tsonga...to avenge his last year USO loss this is clearly his shot...Shapo is no where near as hot as he was at the time of their last match...I am reluctant to take Tsonga ML -163 only because if he wins, I truly believe the spread 2.5 covers, so less bankroll risk here.
Dzumhur ML +137...wrong guy favored here in my opinion.
Schwartzman -5.5 games (-125)...not a believer in Rudd..this could easily be a straight set 64-64-62 type win for the mighty midget from Argentina
Ebden ML +175...just a hunch play here, he just beat Isner handily and now he can get to the 3rd rd of his home country slam against a known match fixer...gimme the guy who appears to have resurrected his career and hope the home crowd gives him the x factor.

a bit sour with chickening out on Tsonga ML, opting for the spread instead...will not be betting women's matches for a few days...i'm not guessing on who has their periods and who doesn't anymore...
Locked in:
Fucsovics ML +225 (half unit)
Fucsovics +4.5 games (-120)
Fucsovics Over 38.5 games (-120)
Fucsovic Over 3.5 sets (-188)....this match screams 10-8 in the 5th set after 5 long hard fought hours.
Djoker -6.5 games (+100)...yes I realize he looked great against The Duck, but he should look the same against The Clown...if anything, this is quite an easy draw for the Djoker given the fact that his seeding is very low...he could not have dreamed of a better 1st and 2nd round scenario to get himself back into form....Bye bye Gael, back to the circus for you...nobody really wants to see your splits or jumping smashes into the net, or glazed eye stares of wonder and amazement at your failed tweener attempts...get lost...you have made this sport and your career a full mockery...I am so happy you will only get 2nd round prize money this year...you wont be able to get a new Ferrari with it (can you guys tell I am not a fan of his???)
Khachanov Delpo Over 3.5 sets (-110)....just can't see Delpo dominating here, one set could easily go the kids way if he plays with positive emotions and holds serve thru the first 6 games of any given set...dare I say this match could be the upset of the day? KK has the type of game to overpower Delpo, or atleast go toe to toe with big serve bombs and even bigger forehand winners...I guess it's all mental with him and hopefully he learned a lot from his growing up on the tour last year....the kid is special and has a very nice all around game...if he keeps the UFEs to a minimum this will be a very close match.
Thiem -7.5 games (+100)....Kudla is not in the same league here, and this match could easily become 61 61 64 in a hurry...what a dream scenario for Thiems 1st two matches...both average challenger pushers back to back, although Pella has been above average last year, however Kudla cannot claim the same...this type of matchup is one where Thiem comes off the court making you think he's a legit top5, but don't let the opponent here lull you into thinking that, because Thiem is definitely not a legit top5 in my opinion.
Wawrinka -4.5 games (-120)...Rzagza made a great point about this match in his thread...this match will be a night match, thus Stan's questionable fitness shouldn't come into play here, where it almost cost him the match vs Berankis out in the daytime heat, but 0-3 in the 4th after tanking the 3rd set...luckily for him Berankis choked that match away brilliantly.
Gasquet -6.5 games (-120)...I will be surprised if this match is closer than 76-63-63...experience counts for a lot here...Sonego likely gets a reality check here
