Basak Eraydin vs. Laura Pous-Tio
Today Basak Eraydin will face Laura Pouis Tio in Istanbul on a clay court. Eraydin is a player who is still quite unknown having an alltime record of 47/38 on clay and 7/0 this season winning a tournament in Antalya but basically playing only low ranked player. Last week she lost her first round match at an ITF event also here in Istanbul. Her opponent today will be Laura Pous-Tio. Pous-Tio is a player who did not catch any form this season so far however now the important weeks start for her where she will grind on clay and hopefully get back some of her confidence. Last week she lost to Kostova in streight sets but I really like the stats Pous-Tio brought on the court: High first serve rate. The odds are really bad placed here: This match will be on clay (not hardcourt as mentioned on tennisexplorer). Pous-Tio really is a player who can step up her game on this surface and who also knows to handle basicaly any situation thanks to many years on the tour and also playing top oponents already. On clay I really do not see Pous-Tio the underdog here. Min. odd @1.95
