This bet feels so weird, perhaps a bit sacrilege. Based on what I've read about Del Potro's health, I'm not sure how he will even get through this farewell tournament or match. Thoughts anyone? Am I missing something? Would his compatriot Delbonis throw him a set or something? This seems...too good to be true.

Delbonis money line -182 and straight sets +130.

"announced that next week's comeback after two and a half years of injury hell is "more a farewell than a return" to tennis."
yeah Moldy...VERY hard to cap this one. Everyone on tour likes him; Delboner is friendly with him. Like you said: "Would his compatriot Delbonis throw him a set or something?"
If Delpo isnt completely hobbled and kinda/sorta looks like a tennis pro, I think he gets gifted a set which makes that straight sets bet a bit scary. Del Potro +1.5 sets is -165, which sucks; that bet should be +money. So guess I gonna take Delboner ML.
BOL!

Delboner is being a prick....drop shotting the poor dude....no set gifts. And Del Po is playing high theater....crying during last game....only Argentines can do that shit and get away with it. mebbe he's crying cuz Bonner didnt let him win a set.

He's done a handful throughout the match. I am okay with it. Delbonis in an awkward situation but playing honest. I wouldn't be surprised if Delpo told him before the match, "Just put me out of my misery ASAP." JM probably ate a ton of pain killers before this one.

What a humble ending for this great legend. Oxcarz, do you have any closing thoughts for Del Potro and his girlfriend? I'm hoping for a true Oxcarz sendoff.
