What’s everyone thought here. I really can’t see anyone compete with Iga at this moment. She dominated hard court and everyone now that she’s best on Clay.
2019 when she won French Open she didn’t dropped a single set. And she is so much better now, and the rest of the field haven’t kept up with her.
She will have an easy draw as well as world number one, and she always gets better at the late stage of the torunuments.
Halep with her new coach? Maybe she can reach semi/final but can’t see her beat Iga at the moment.
im ball deeps into Iga And adding more every week, down to 3,5 now. If it goes below that I won’t add more. But until then I’m adding!

Let’s start the summer with a big payout! The final plays 4th of June
I can only see an injury stop her.
and for Ruud I think it’s good value, he also plays best in on Clay. I think Djokovic will comeback and win and show why his the GOAT.

I'm seeing Djoker +225, Alcaraz +275 as the horses to back...taking out Nadal due to concerns of his injury status...not sure why he pushed himself so hard in the early hardcourt season post Australia.
Ruud at +2000 odds makes absolutely no sense from my pov, but the books really don't put much effort in their futures...just look and you'll see Serena, Thiem, Andreescu being offered as medium longshots and they aren't even actively playing.
On the WTA, this is Swiatek's world and everyone else is just part of the peanut gallery...I can't see anyone else beating her given the way she's playing, plus the way all the other "top" players are underachieving...none of these women play well enough on clay anymore...it's a dying surface for the WTA...their game is slow enough as it is, but putting pushers and truly bad players who supposedly are top 100 ranked women's tennis players (cough joke, cough joke) on the clay, it becomes painful to watch.

@packersbackers
Thanks for your input maestro! Much appreciated.
I know crazy with Ruud top 10 player and Theim who hasn’t played in years and just lost in the first round in his comeback is a bigger favourite…

What I like about Ruud is he knows he has the chance to be Norway's best all time tennis player, and become a life time hero for his country and inspire more kids to play tennis...all the other next gen guys seem to lack this intangible

After todays match up, Djoker will be lucky to make the QF. He wont last 5 sets. Completely bagged by game 4 in 3rd set. He’s in no physical or mental condition to be a major champ right now.
Alcaraz all day.

Sabalenka odds is still 21 on Bet365.
I don’t think we will get that after this final, so adding some here. If it’s anyone on the WTA that can beat anyone on a good day it’s Sabalenka.
pending
Iga 3.75
sabalenka 21
Clara T 80 (pending from last year)

Yeah different level, she’s 37-3 this year 5 back to back titles.
Jabeur was 11-0 on clay this season got beaten 6-2 6-2..

Sitting pretty, wish I would have got in at those odds. I want to say she was right around 3.75 last French open also. But right at the start of tournament..

I think Fokina +5477 @ Pinnacle holds tremendous value, hoping he makes a run to the semi's isn't that far of a stretch if he gets a favorable draw

Pack- is there absolutely any reason to take peePeePas +450-500 on the futures market??
his quarter is an absolute joke… even though he doesn’t look as good as he did last year on clay at this time… I think he can cruise to the finals even with his current form.
is there a scenario where nadals foot holds up enough to atleast give Djokovic a decent battle in the quarters… and then a Djokovic alcaraz blood bath 5 setter 5+ hour gladiator esque match in the semis.. where PeePeePas May actually have a chance in the finals iF Djoker beats alcaraz and just runs out of gas (assuming he plays b2b grueling matches vs nadal and alcaraz)? I think if alcaraz survives Djokovic, even after a grueling 5 setter 5 hour epic match- he should still beat peePeePas anyway, but at that point I could hedge out of the future? Thoughts

There is no point taking a Futures wager if you don’t think the guy can win. You better be laying serious coin if you’re looking to hedge anyway.
That being said, why don’t you take a “Name The Finalists” prop bet? Djokovic v Tsitsipas pays 6-1 on FanDuel. Take who you think gets past the QF and SF on the top half of the draw vs Tsitsipas. This way there is no hedge and you can sit back and hope for your guy to get through.
Im taking it on FanDuel! Good luck!

I didn’t say I didn’t think PeePeePas couldn’t win. I would never bet a future if I thought the guy had zero chance. I listened to drew dinsick and Gil Alexander’s pod as they discussed the draw as it came out. I agreed with their instant reaction of tsitsipas having an absolute stroll to the finals. They said he’s -300/-400 vs every seeded player in his half , depending on if rublev makes it out of his quarter.
my point was saying, if you missed the boat on the alcaraz odds months or so ago- I don’t see the value in taking him at this price to get through Djoker. I was just saying, is there value in taking TsiTsiPas (4.5 or 5/1) if you truly believe he has an easy road to the finals??
unless Nadal is a walkover - he usually doesn’t WD during a match. Too much respect for the game. He’s too much of a dawg, he battles no matter what. So to me, if joker has to get through nadal in the 1/4s then alcaraz in a 5+ hour bloodbath semi final…. I do think peepeepas has a chance in the final @+450-500 futures odds if Djokovic is gassed a bit.
i personally don’t see the value in taking nadal- foot injury looks bad. Alcaraz odds sailed - I remember when he was still 13/1 16/1 back before / during Indian wells. So mad I missed that boat- never pulled the trigger.
do I think alcaraz after a 5+ hour blood bath match vs Djoker can still beat PeePeePas? Yes I do. I also think over the course of an entire major and however many 5 set match’s along the way, I do lean Djokovic. I think drew dinsick had mentioned alcaraz has only won 10 Majors matches to date. As unbelievable as he is, I think I would still take Djokovic in a 5 setter.
my point being- tsitsipas was up 2-0 last French open final. I think at this point +450-500 is too good to pass up after seeming his side of the draw.

There is great value with Tsitsipas! I don’t disagree with that. It’s just very hard to predict matches. Your theory is based on “a blood bath in the semi-finals” between an up and comer vs. an all time great. You’re hoping for Tsitsipas to have more rest against 2 players who are better than him at this point in time. That’s the point I took from your response.
Nadal can be in form. Alcaraz could feel pressure. Djokovic can be physically exhausted if your theory holds true. We don’t know. Tsitsipas can also lose to Rudd or Rublev. Tsitsipas can also lose in the first round if his mental acumen isn’t on point.
Thank you for the response and insight. Debate and interaction, along with respectful disagreement is a lost art ??. That being said, good luck on your bets and I hope you do well. I’m locking in Joker v Tsitsipas Final after today’s matches.

Amanda Anisimova Is playing really good this year and could this be her big break? I think only Sakkari could beat her on the way to the final on the bottom side of the draw.
Let’s see what price we get after this first round is completed
