Wow! the matches tomorrow look fantastic to the eye, hopefully everyone shows up and we get a couple close matches.
Nadal vs Murray (-650/-6.5/36) (-2.5 sets +104)
Nadal leads h2h 14-6 and is 5-0 on clay. Murray won a set last time they met up earlier this year and he has also won a set off Nadal on clay in 2011. Murray seems in fine form right now, but we have to remember his mental slip up yesterday allowing Monfils back in the match. On the other side of things, Nadal absolutely embarrassed his good friend Ferrer after losing the first set. It was a total domination and to do that to the Bulldog is very very impressive. At first look, the line is quite inflated and no respect for Murray. On the other hand, let me revert back to what he just did to Ferrer (who is much more fluent on clay than Murray)....Leaning Nadal in straights but I will have to think about it.
Djokovic vs Gulbis (-800/-6/37.5)(-2.5 sets -100)
The h2h here is 4-1 Djoker, winning all sets except 2, in which he lost on a hard court in 2009 to Gulbis. The one clay meeting was way back in 2008 and Dj won 75 76 75 but that is way too long ago to be relevant. Gulbis has been absolutely on fire looking like a top 5 prospect. Clay isnt even his favorite surface but he loooks plenty comfortable. On the other side we have Djoker, who has been very good as always. This line is also big, kind of surprising considering how amazing gulbis has played and what he did to berdych. Gulbis gets 3 tries to get a set and with his humongous swings up and down I think he surely gets a set tomorrow. Doubt he can win, this is not Federer....Could be a very good match though.

As you could tell from my write up above, I am on team Gulbis. His talent is huge and he seems to have gathered his mental. Sure Djoker is the top standard, but when Gulbis is playing his best he can beat anybody. He seems at top form right now and Djoker is pretty darn close himself. With gulbis huge talent and focus right now, i think he makes this atleast a 4 set match, perhaps a 5 set classic. I think about last year at wimbeldon when delpotro and djoker had that epic match. This could be similar if Gulbis steps to the plate and plays his best tennis. I am not going to tip that he should win this, because Djoker wants this grand slam very badly and is the superior player, but with 3 tries, i can see Gulbis getting atleast a set.
Going back and forth on Murray and Nadal. If i have a play for that it will be a bit later

Nadal -2.5 sets +104 rafa is hitting full stride at just the right time. What he did to ferrer was down right impressive. He won 12 of the last 13 games after losing the first set. Ferrer is a superior player to murray on clay and he will be easier for nadal to break. I think 1 or 2 of the sets may be fairly close, but tomorrow the king of clay shows why thats his nickname when he beats another grand slam champion in a key semi-final. Additionally, murray has had tons of court time going 5 sets with monfils and kohl, so his legs may not be as fresh as they need to be going against rafa.

Thanks gl. Interesting fact: last yr gulbis won the 1st set of his match vs nadal 61 at rome. Shows that his success on clay this year is not totally out of the blue. Seemed quite comfortable vs fed and berd, even better than weeks before when ferrer got him in straights on 2 occasions...

I hate betting against Joker or Nadal in any kind or way...
Both matches totals suggest Murray and Gulbis at least take a set, but I'm still hard press to lay any money on either Over. Yet not confident enough to take either Under yet either.
Sigh

Djokovic just standing feet behind the baseline allowing gulbis to make all the errors. Gulbis needs to start hitting some slices and drops to draw him in.
