Great serve (when it goes in) and great forehand. The backhand and double faults are still a liability though. He got broke to start the 1st and 2nd sets, I think. What are your thoughts on the final vs the vet Nishioka?
I expect Stricker will be something like a -185 favorite.
I feel like it’s Stricker’s to lose. Nishioka played very clean tennis vs Brooksby today. Stricker had to save himself multiple times.

I like Nishioka, he use to be a top 50 player so the final is going to be thought for Stricker.
Nishioka is the favourite at 1.60 at the first odds that's out at Tipsport.
I like Sricker as an underdog here, if he just can keep his first serve % high, only 51% today.
I don't know how much to take from the Brooksby game I didn't watch it. But this was Brooksby first tournament since October last year.

I think I’m not giving Nishi enough credit. The more I think about how he played vs Brooksby, I feel like it reminded me of why he was once ranked so high. Brooksby wasn’t playing that bad. Nishi was just so calm and collected out there. It’s a pretty strange finals pairing - guy trying to reignite his once solid career vs a young gun with huge weapons but lacking control.
