Hard ignoring the rain delays when capping and/or betting

Question

Rain can be a real momentum killer for some players, especially the mentally fragile ones, while giving the player who is behind a chance to regroup. I don't think anyone keeps stats on this stuff but I'm sure some players deal better with rain delays than others. How many times have you seen a player who was cruising to victory have their momentum stopped by a rain delay?

Happens all the time...Halep was down 0-3 in the 3rd then won 4 straight and about to break Tomj again, then rain came...this match was 99% over for Halep winning 6-3...now its back being a match again with Tomj having the chance to regroup and recover physcially and mentally...its a much bigger deal in the womens game

Here we go. Play, delay, play, delay...this is one variable that can through everything off. I am sure it will have an impact in at least a couple of matches. But which ones?

Amanda Anisimova match for sure. She had 2 set points last night before delay and Martic came back after 12 hours and started with two good serves now that she is fresh and its tied at deuce now before another delay.

Next time she will win two more points and tie the set at 5-5. In frustration Amanda screws up her serve and the set.

Just yesterday in the Cordenons Challenger.

Aldin Setkic up a set, and 5-4 serving for match... Interrupted. Comes back and everything goes to hell. Loses the next 2 games (5-7), loses 3S (6-3).

Yup, there are only a handful of players you can trust in these conditions. But is almost always better for the player who is losing.

My money (figuratively speaking) is on the guys who have been there, done that.But it will be interesting to see.These are the current lines, Djoker (-210) and Cilic (-145), though I am not betting.

From what i see, they are almost done drying the courts and play should resume  shortly...whether there will be more delays and rain i cannot say
