No. It's not worth a penny. You may as well just throw a penny in a wishing well and wish for world peace, and a sloppy blowjob from Ana Ivanovic (to keep it tennis themed).

The only thing worth a look here is Fed to win 2-1 +225. Let us not forget just how good Haas' form has been this tournament, his past #1 status pedigree, the great players he has beat who themselves looked in form on the way to getting here and the fact that deep down we know there is not much difference between 31 and 28 and that 31 isn't really as ancient in tennis as people make it out to be....
Haas can take a set. If Kohlscreiber (sp?) can take a set off of Roger then damned if Haas canot do the same in the semis. I see a Herculean tiebreaker win in one of them. Or at least this is what I tell myself trying to find a way to extract value on my Haas futures bet, which in my eyes right now looks practically worthless. I figure it would be more consistent to bet him to at least take a set than for Roger to win in straights, and there is no value in his moneyline.
I do not think he can win but I think he can take Roger a lot closer to the edge than most people do. The German is serving extremely well and volleying well and often, which is unique in today's game. Haas really goes for it. He is an aggressive shotmaker who has been hitting the majority of his shots, shots that sometimes make me think, "No one could have gotten that." Not even Federer.
Now, many of these all-or-nothing shots will go long but he has proven able to get on a roll hitting them in succession and I think he is ready to have the game of his life. He just got his career win right after a certain Top Five win so it is not impossible to believe this guy is peaking right now. I have bets on Fed to win 3-1 +225 and less on Fed to win 3-2 +700, to both equal out at the same profit overall.Putting Fed in parlays with Venus and Murray. Cheering on this set win but deep down would probably love seeing this futures bet get cashed!
Don't forget what Dementiava almost did!

I hear you BurningPlanet, I would LOVE to think my Haas future has ANY shot at all....however I did make it hoping that Federer would either get injured or be upset lol....so I think that my 50$ to win 5k ticket is useless....was fun to cheer him on throughout the tourney though!

Yeah canes this was as far as I thought he could come and he did it. But I also thought when he cashed that Haas culd get a set or better so here I am. Fed looks about as good as is humanly possible though vs. Haas only looking "extremely good".
