How often do you get Joker at such a great bargain price?

This is what scares me.. I want to pound Joker to win but what are the realistic odds he loses this time?

History says djoker.

Eye test says medvedev. Less time on court, no injury concerns, only dropped sets in one match, same level d as djoker but with a bigger serve

I took Medvedev +100. 

Wasn't gonna bet tennis but the line obviously shocked me when I looked at it. Thought it was a foregone conclusion that Novak would take it. I was thinking he'd be at least -340, and possibly -500. Fanduel giving only -116 so I took a shot.

I usually don't do well betting fishy lines in tennis, but I really had no choice on the matter. 

Give me the world #1 tennis player. He will rise to the occasion no matter how he has looked in the lead up.

I mean I don't think i've seen Novak this cheap in years, seriously. Maybe once against Roger, and he's probably a dog vs. Nadal at the French. But other than that, never this cheap. 

This matchup is close. Might sprinkle $100 on the loser of the 1st set for live +200 odds for value.

Especially if somebody loses the first set 6-2/6-3. Should catch a nice number. 

is there a difference between -.5 and the ML in tennis?

completely difference bets. -.5 means your betting on who wins more games. Usually it leads to the winner of the match but not always.

ML means you just have whoever wins the match

 Joker has never lost a match at the Australian Open as a #1 seed.  Something like 42-0.

That said, I picked Medvedev at the beginning to go all the way.

I'd take Medvedev at +340 or whatever his price would be on that line!  He's owned Joker on hard courts!

Considering it's highly likely both players win a set, this might be the way to go for fun.

Guys Ive been betting my guy for years this is the best odds I've ever seen he's going to win this 100%. Daniel doesn't scare me here he may get a set but thats about it. 

If Medvedev wins the first set, you will get a decent price on Joker.

The odds are good value because Daniil beat Stefanos who beat Nadal along with Djoker having the injury card earlier in the tourney, if he were in prime form I could see the odds much lower maybe 1.65 vs 2.40

to me it seems the only thing to do is watch it and wait for a juicy live line
