Keys 20min second set
Draper J. / Machac T.
I’m jumping on this one early—Draper’s looking sharp right now. He hasn’t played much doubles lately, mostly using it as a warm-up.
He’s teamed up with Machac before, back in Tokyo 2024. They crushed their first two matches there before walking over (WO) the semifinals. Earlier, he partnered with Sinner in Montreal, where they also won their first two rounds and then WO’d the quarterfinals. Three of his last four doubles wins have come as the underdog.
He doesn’t play singles until Tuesday, so I think he’ll put real effort into this doubles draw. Machac’s is a solid partner.
He's coming off a singles title in Acapulco, in doubles he won Marseille last year, made the French Open quarterfinals, and played for Olympic bronze. The only slight concern? He retired from his singles match here after winning the first set. Doesn’t seem like a big injury—more like he’s been under the weather since Mexico.
They’re up against Bopanna R. (45) / Dodig I. (40), a pair that’s 1-3 this year. Bopanna’s had most of his success with Matthew Ebden, who recently ditched him for his younger Aussie teammate Peers (9 years younger than Bopanna) that he won the Olympics with. Bopanna won Indian well back in 2023 and AO last year, but both with Ebden where they have +100 games together. I think wining AO was Bopanna's goal and gave him god status in Indina, can't see him that motivated at 45 after that.
Should be an easy win for the young couple.
Heliövaara, Patten
13-4 this year, won AO and is not ranked 3 & 4 in the world, that plus Zverev often lose the next double match after he's out from single. He don't want to stay around..

Another early round no sweat play.
I tailed some NCAAB play but don't get how you can play Baskeball, the stress level is insane especially with spread. Your team is up 6 you go to the bathroom, when you are back they down 8

Draper 2-0
Heliövaara, Patten 2-0
Let's hope Fritz now can keep the tradition and win in straight against Tabilo. 3-0 H2H 7-0 in set's and Fritz didn't face a single BB last two matches (only broken once in their first game)

Sabalenka Under 18.50
Donna +1.50 sets
Paolini J. over 19.50
Shelton - Khachanov Over 0.50 Tiebreaks
Draper 2-0 + Fritz 2-0
Annoying that Fritz gave away the 1st set like that (45% 1st serve and 35% 2nd serve won).
Great day, had some plays I posted in another thread that also won Donna ML, double Donna +3.5 & Christian +4.5 aslo backed the over in Kasaktina so great return last night.
