Tailed you. Thanks. I had reservations about backing Giorgi in this spot, despite Kvitova's recent performances.

I was tempted to play Kvitova +2,5 when Giorgi was 30-0 up in the first game.

 

But already one under 2,5 set in this one, I think whoever wins the first will win straight up so didn't really make sense to play that.

Kvitova reached the final here in 2019 and won in 2013. 

Halep won 2020 and 2015.

 

Maybe one of the OG will win again at this warm-up Tournament to Doha next week.

Very early to say but I think one of the old ladies will win here and the Next gen will win in Doha.

 

Halep, Muguruza, Azarenka, Svitolina or Kvitova would be my bet
