MARIA SHARAPOVA (-120) - - - My first pick will be my favorite womens tennis player. Maria Sharapova and Nadal and two individuals who seem to play every last point as if they were trying to save match point. Pova just has that will and determination that cannot be measured in tennis. I love her game and attitude towards winning. Pova leads the head-to-head series 2-1. Her two wins may have seemed as if they were tight three set games, but in retrospect Pova owned the rest of the match in both occasions and seemed as if she choked a bit allowing Az to get a set. 3 of the 4 sets Az has taken from Pova have come from tie breaks while Pova has has taken easy sets from AZ 6-2, 6-4, 6-3 and 7-5. Pova is a hard court queen. Maria and 41-9 in her last 50 hard court matches...amazing. 23-6 since Aug 1st and and outstanding 160-39 overall...that is an 80% clip. Pova with her exuberance and desire to play hard. Maria has won 6 in a row when priced at this level. I think this is a tad bit low and am glad to have Pova at almost even money.

RICHARD GASQUET (+135) - - - Almagro has shows little to no form since his recent title win. He has not been able to close out easy contenders in 2 sets. 3 of his 4 matches all went to 3 sets and the one that did not was a lucky one. He defeated Chardy in 2 but needed a tie-break. 3 of the 4 matched Richard had were all completed in 2 sets. The only one that was not was a unlucky break where Gasquet lost a first set tie break then continued to demolish Brands 6-3 and 6-0 to win the match. He looks in great form and Almagro looks a bit vulnerable. Granted Almagro has won 4 of his last 5 final appearances but I thing the hungrier competitor will prevail. Gasquet has won 7 in a row when his opponent is a big server, I think this line is screaming for Almagro takers and I think Richard has what it takes for the upset.

ANASTASIA PAVLYUCHENKOVA (-200) - - - Don't really understand the reluctance here. Forget the high price, this is a god opportunity to get one of the up and comers in the tennis game at a cheap price. Vesina is good, but Pavly is raw and could be a star in the making. It's all about composure and swagger in this game. Pavly is a girl who thrives on the spotlight. Loves the big games, Vesina on the other hand a bit of a choke artist. In here last 3 finals apperances she has gotten an ass whooping. She is 2-3 overall in 5 finals appearances but has not won one since 2003. Pavly on the other hand is sick wit it. He has won 6 of 7 finals appearances and she has won 5 in a row. Pavy has a 1-0 h2h and I really respect her first win over Vesina. Down 1 set, she fought back and basically dismantled Ves in the final two sets 6-2 and 6-1. This is Pavly's time. This should be a straight sets victory.

FERRERO VS STARACE OVER GAMES - - - This has over written all over it, depending on the actual number this may be a POD for me. JCF and Mr.Potito head have had numerous battles. 4 of 5 have gone to 3 setters and all of them have gone over the total listed. That is 6-0 on the overs list and I just see yet another battle here. I do lean JCF here due to a few trends. Potito has lost 9 in a row at this price (moderate underdog $3.00 - $5.99) JCF has won 5 of 6 on clay as well as 7-8 at Umag. On Clay JCF is 28-7 since Aug 1st...that is an 80% clip. Gotta roll with JCF to take this battle.

ANDY MURRAY (-222) - - - Sam is the luckiest son of a bith on the planet. Did not deserve the win over Tipsy, not did he deserve the win over Anderson. Lucky is all he was. This youngster stands little to no chance against Andy. Funny thing is Andy has played horrific this week, yet still finds himself in the final. He wasn't lucky to get through though IMO. He showcased his skill by never giving up when down and continuing to fight. He wasn't handed any victories such as Sam. Andy on hard court is something of brilliance. 41-9 in his last 50 matches. 25-6 since Aug 1st and 128-42 overall. Sam on the other hand barely has a 50% win rate since Aug 1st on HC and is 4-6 in his last 10. This is Andy's title to lose for sure.

STEVE DARCIS (-125) - - - Final bet is a no name. This is the cordenons challanger final. Simply put Darcis knocked off Haase who previously knocked off Roger Vasselin who was my favorite to win the tourney and made me quite a bit of change his first game. Thus the way I think, if this kid knocked off Haase who knocked of ERV, I gotta go with Darcis for a hit.
