Mak's Tennis Wagers (New York ATP & WTA)

This sucks. I never even saw Mak go out of his way to promote himself so not sure what the big deal is. This thread is a tragedy, it should be about his picks and discussion of them, not the man himself. How ridiculous.

When Mack was chased out I was cool with that because he acted like a douche half the time, touted himself as flawless and berated pretty much everyone on the forum in one way or another. But this Mak it sucks to lose because he was down to earth while still being good at this. He fit in smoothly and never talked shit on people who disagreed with his plays.

I don't give a shit about his lifetime unit total or any of that. That information can be twisted in many ways anyway. I agree with the guy that said if you read someone long enough you will figrue out for yourself whether or not they are any good. Of course this requires a lot more thought than just glancing at numbers to make sure they meet with your approval and then blindly trusting someone.

I hope you change your mind, Mak. This is going to happen on any public forum to one degree or another and you just have to be able to ignore it. You know your work is appreciated and doesn't it feel good to write the case out and reread it later, even if only to see how appealing your logic is when looked at more from a distance and adjusting your plays accordingly?

I tailed you a  few times and hedged a few times on plays I made that ran opposite a solid case you made. You made/saved me some money so thank you for that. And luck to you wherever you land.

Totally agree with you, BP.  I, for one, appreciate a post detailing a pick and, more importantly, a detailed discussion of the reasoning behind it. 

Unfortunately, Mak's well-written summaries and perhaps the compliments he received as a result rubbed a couple of people the wrong way, apparently, so they chose to try to tear him down.  Petty.

If sparty ever got it together and started posting picks, I'd pay him to keep it going. Fading would be at least 15% ROI.
