Would you like to start your own thread? Missing winners in someone else's posted plays thread. Just a thought. Not being the police here lol. It would be helpful Yela.

Easily the worst match of the tournament for Jackie but she was still able to hang in and win the big clutch points down the stretch, something that Masarova seems to always have a tough time doing. Cristian also stepped up her level on serve in the final two sets hitting over 75% first serves in each set.
Linda will be extremely hard to beat in the final though. She has been killing it on return and for two weeks straight now she has just been punishing the second serves of several tour level players. If Cristian can hit 70%+ first again she may have a shot but if that number dips I think Fruhvirtova will just eat up her second serve. Linda can be vulnerable on serve at times but she can also be fairly clutch when she gets in to a hole in a service game. And I'm not sure that Cristian will be quite as effective at taking advantage of weak second serves.

McNally has played really well against lower tier players since she came back. Unfortunate for Liu to draw her though because the rest of the qualifying field is mostly atrocious.
There will be at least 3 qualifiers who will be playing their first tour level main draw match in over a year, some of them several years. And if Mattek-Sands holds on she would be the 4th. I'm not watching the match but honestly I think the tank job is going on with Zhang Shuai either just from the goodness of her heart or perhaps she knows of an upcoming withdrawal from someone like Pegula that would give her a lucky loser spot. Just hard to believe that she's only been able to break BMS once in ten tries.
Basically all the quals level players eliminated early from Miami either went straight over to Europe or are playing in Colombia. So the tournament had to get all these doubles players to play and also reached out to some local Americans who didn't have any plans this weekend.

PUERTO VALLARTA FINAL
Cristian/Fruhvirtova o21.5 (-125)
Last play of the week. I have been really impressed watching Fruhvirtova over the past two weeks and it is good to see her getting results again. But if I'm not mistaken this will be her first final at any level in nearly three years and it's hard to know how well she will perform down the stretch when the tension rises. Either way this should be a back and forth match throughout so I feel really good about the over.

@reffub
Um, ok, thanks for the expert analysis. I mostly just flip a coin so yeah its just luck but I have this one coin that is very lucky sometimes but the flip still requires some skill.
By the way, I bet on Cristian to beat Masarova, the player you just described. Probably wouldn't have bet Cristian to beat Iga or Mirra. But that's irrelevant because she was playing Masarova. You're trying to lecture me about how bad Masarova can be while saying I'm lucky for betting on a more stable "average" player to beat her. So were you somehow expecting to see an above average player in the final at this 125??
