Yeah, bad break.

I tend to avoid the smaller tournaments with low rank players. When 2 players suck, it doesn't matter if one is ranked 40 and the other, 60. Or one is ranked 70 and the other is ranked 99. OR....

Anything can happen.

Also, I don't trust that the matches are totally honest. I suspect there is a lot of match fixing going on...

The lower ranked players don't make much, so they'll be more inclined to take a fall than the top players...if it means a bigger payday, IMO.
