This is Federer&#x27;s best chance of beating Nadal.Rafa has not been impressive this tourney. If Dimitrov converts that easy set point I think he wins the match. I think Fed gives him trouble. Especially if he is the agressive Federer the first two sets. If he plays like he did in the 3rd set then Rafa massacres him but I think Fed knows this..&#xD;&#xA;Bottom Line I can&#x27;t bet Fed against Rafa because Rafa owns him but I think this one is as close as the line suggests. I think this goes 5 and I am playing the OVER. If you are going to play Nadal you should play 5/6 to win the tourney as Birdsh!t or Stan won&#x27;t beat him.

under normal circumstances I would say Nadal, but these are far from normal.

Lets not forget Nadal is injured, more then you can imagine. His huge blister is not going away and only getting worse. That blister was obviously IMO causing him great problems.

Fed is finally playing the attacking game that can beat nadal.

I say Federer in 4 sets

The major issue for nadals blister is his serve. He hit it at an average of 100 MPH against DimitrovIf he loses it will be because of that.

This is fed&#x27;s tourney to lose and the line shows it.  last few times on hard court nadal was a -300 fav and even on in door at atp year end he nadal was -300;  throw in nadal blister issues and this is a major issue and fed resurgence and playing the most impressive of them all

Nadal owned Fed but these are not the same players. Nadal has severe blisters. He must be in incredible pain and certainly has his power limited and it has showed in the battles with Nishi and Dimitrov. Fed has gone to a new level. I&#x27;ll admit I had him written off like most of us but he has taken his game back to top level. The racket change is giving more power, the coach is getting him more aggressive, and the back injury is gone. If we all didn&#x27;t know the history and had just watched them play for the first time this tourney then who would be favored? I&#x27;d have to think Fed. I&#x27;m not betting history. I&#x27;m going to roll with current form.

Do you even understand that Rafa has figured out how to defeat Fed, and he does it TIME AFTER TIME. Top spin to the backhand, shot after shot. Federer cannot hit the one handed backhand, then he slices back or hits a weak backhand and nadal attacks with the forehand that ends the point

Im not saying nadal will win easily, but if he loses, it will very likely be because of his blister which is causing him to hit the ball with very little power. And it will not be in 3 sets. Maybe 4 but even that i doubt.

Yes fed is in good form but hes not in impeccable form. Hes not the federer of two years ago. He beat a headcase tsonga who sprayed about 60 errors in 3 sets and a Murray who is coming off a back injury and really didnt play that well

I find it so fascinating how some of you people come to such quick conclusions

have no clue about tennis....lmao....I play the sport and play it competitive on usta. I am not saying I am any pro but I have played tourney and league play for several years and know tennis a lot more than most. So to say have no clue I would be willing to bet I know a lot more about the game than you but this is gambling and I am not here to piss in people cornflakes and justing my opinion.

Fed is back in his best form in last several years and has looked better and more impressive than the rest of the field. Having blisters is not a small issue and is a huge issue as it affects your grip and you are not able to apply the grip tightness as normal because of discomfort. For people who say Nadal owns Fed is laughable.

Nadal is the king of clay and will always be known as the king of clay so the numbers will always be lopsided with Nadal 13-2 on clay. Remember when Fed was in his mid 20s he was making every final on clay, but losing while Nadal on the other hand was not making every final on grass and hard courts. Numbers would not be near as one-sided had we seen Nadal make more finals n diff surfaces. Fed record off clay is 8-9 against Nadal and three of those losses are last year when he was no where near his self. Fed shouldn't have dropped a set thus far but choked the third away up a break then two match points, but still closed out in four. Fed has his confidence back with the help of Enberg and serving and volleying has made him a lot more aggressive and dangerous. The swap in racquet has helped with his eye and made his shots a lot more crisp and not as many frame shots. I believe strongly you could see a straight set victory by Fed or a four set victory. The line for Nadal to win this tourney at -110 tells you Vegas is very unsure of his blister issue. Like I said earlier remember Nadal was just a -300+ fav against Fed less than 45 days agonow only 150ish I will roll with Fed as I got a 20:1 ticket on him still and believe he knows this could be one of his last chances with not having to run a complete gauntlet with joker not looming

Nasal practiced today without the hand taped.  It was likely a very short practice (they showed him hitting serves) but I gotta believe its not that big of an issue if he does not tape it in practice.

Why the hell would someone take -120 to win the whole tournament over -160 in this game alone? For that to be worth it, do you know how big a fave he&#x27;d have to be in the final?
