That was the best someone could look in a 2-0 defeat. He missed so many opportunities, controlled the play, he just missed shots that he normally makes. Anyone who watched knows that the first set could&#x27;ve gone either way and a crucial call went against him. I think if they meet in the finals at french he will take nadal.

djoko is usually out before he gets to play rafa at roland garros.

if he's lucky, he'll be out before the finals yet again and not have to get embarrassed in 4 sets or less on rafa's court

did you see the Aussie Open final 2012 when Rafa blew chances to take control of the match in the 5 set epic match? an objective observer would see that he played just as well, if not slightly better, but djoko played consistently in the big pts and rafa messed up

the most telling part was that joker was controlling the ground strokes and that is usually what it comes down to, they kept bringing up the game difference nadal struggled every service game joker will not blow that many opportunities if he plays even slightly better

cowboys i&#x27;d agree with you in the 1st set he had rafa on the edgei had rafa in a future bet but i bet out cuz i didn&#x27;t like the way he was playingas for the 2nd setrafa completely beat his ass pissed me off i should have waited with my future bet cuz if joker would have won the 1st set he would have prob been like -200 to win itwhere as rafa was -450 after the 1st set

in 2011 nole dominated rafa........the clay court season before the french was very impressive for nole...........rafa's broken foot at wimbledon killed him...........all credit to nole for beating him at the us open though........

in the 2012 aussie, rafa got his mental edge back by pushing it 5 sets and playing as well or slightly better than nole overall..........

took it to monte carlo 2012 and whacked nole

took it yesterday and cruised

&#xD;&#xA;and wimbledon 2011 final rafa played with a broken foot, did you know that?&#xD;&#xA;and then the hardcourt season leading up to the us open, rafa had to rest the foot so he missed valuable practice and tune up time, he still made the us open final to play djoko&#xD;&#xA;put an asterisk next to at least the wimbledon final as well

well of course if you judge that by elegance, sportsmanship, ability, not playing very slow, (picking there ass all the time) on a serious note, nadal can ball., he is very very tough and amazing on clay.  i loved the loss to verdasco up 5-2 in the 3rd set., but he is human and actually played bad for once.,   wait what is that last thing to measure tennis greatness and overall ability..,  hmmm

just posted by the covers tennis writer in the article about the french open odds:He&#x27;s back on top of his game with two wins in a row over Djokovic. One &#xD;&#xA;of those wins came while Nole was suffering emotionally with his &#xD;&#xA;grandfather&#x27;s death, so we&#x27;ll give him a semi-pass on that one. But last&#xD;&#xA; Sunday in Rome, Nadal was clearly the better player.
