just watch any bo jovanski match she will go from 5-0 to 5-7 i've seen everything in wta i seriously doubt these players are fixing matches theres more money to be made winning matches and where u gonna be able to place a 50k bet on an early round match without raising red flags
That is true lol I don't bet Tennis very much so maybe that is why these little things raise red flags to me quicker. I used her in a small parlay and she is my last leg. I am really hoping she doesn't mess this up

i look at azarenka's matches last year she only lost to 1 player outside top 100 she pretty much only lost to people she woudln't of been that big of favorite too, i'm sure there is some match fixing but it's prob in the small time events can't see a top 100 player risking their career and millions of dollars over throwing a tennis match

yall peoples who believe the match fixing are the same people who believe the world trade center conspiracy probably, it's absolutely ridiclious to think just because a player loses to a weaker player they are throwing the match

Chuck, I strongly suggest you look at this fixing issue from a non biased point of view. I'm not sure how long you've been following tennis or betting on it. I'm running on 30+ yrs in this sport and can tell you first hand tennis is the easiest sport to "manipulate" a result. Call it match fixing? Not officially but any second set can be "arranged" by a heavy favorite by tanking it and then winning the third set easily if the talent level difference is significant enough. These players are all looking for added sources of income. They could easily have one person text and another and another etc to place live bets to the over.
In one match they stand to make more than winning the event. Is really a very dangerous sport to be a casual bettor on especially if you really think everything you see is honest and on the up and up. I could go on and on about soccer fixing or basketball fixing by refs (Tim donaghey
) but in the end it's life experience that will make you see this more clearly.
winning the tournament gets u a few hundred thousand u telling me pennetta is gonna throw the 2nd set to cover the over and how much money would somebody be placing on the over bets cuz i guarantee if alot of money were coming on the same players totals they would be investigated,

How can people think tennis is not fixed or can be fixed? We already know that NBA and soccer has been proven to be fixed. NHL coaches betting on sports.
When there is money involved any sport can be fixed.

Lots of $$$ is traded everyday on BetFair... I take it you don't know shit about exchanges and the underground Asian Market.
You can easily get down 4+ figures on Isner/Davydenko right now at BetFair... Huge amounts of $$$ are traded on the exchanges.
You are completely oblivious if you think tennis match fixing isn't completely normal. Hell, look up Davydenko and fixing, gotta wonder how much he got paid by the Russian mafia for that.
