Classic fade the winner of the previous week's event theory in effect here...at first glace this looks like an easy win for the Estonian, but I'm a sucker for this betting angle

Nope, first time. I was going to go to the event earlier last month but I figured to wait for the WTA 500 event for a chance to see better quality players.

I think Rublev is always a good play until he breaks thru...I'm not sold on Naka, and I think Norrie peaked earlier in the season and his overall pusher style isn't working anymore

I agree on Evans because Kwon may have less in the tank after Nur-Sultan. But I feel like the bookmakers have already accounted for this (I'm seeing Evans at -260). You think there's still value on that play, Pack? Evans got pushed around A LOT this summer.

There is always a way to get around -260 ML favs...either you take it as the first leg of a two game ML parlay of similar odds to get around +100 for a 2 gamer, or what I am more likely to suggest and do myself is take the games spread and 2-0,sets for Evans here...keep in mind this is purely a situational cap from my experience and it's always worth a look to fade Kwon in this spot...he might still be legally drunk when he walks onto the court tomorrow...last week's win for him was a career changing event...travel, jet lag, etc.... you get where I'm coming from.

I won't go into deep ingame analysis of this match, but the way Kontav played that 3rd game in the 1st set told me she was not into this match mentally...Brengle has the worst serve in all of professional tennis since the wooden racquet was used...all the massive UFE's Kontav started to suddenly hit off of 50 mph Brengle 2nd serves once she got up 4-1 in the 1st set was a sure tell the dog was going to cover here.
If you just looked at the analytics and form coming into this match, I could have made a strong argument for a 61 61 type Kontav win, but Tennis betting is unlike any other sport...period
