Thought I will do a separate thread with just double plays.
The thing with doubles is that you have pairs that only play doubles and who are touring together all year round, playing pairs that never played before and playing players that don't really care about doubles.
Gonzalez, Molteni - Martinez, Munar
Ranking
Gonzalez is ranked 41 and Molteni 57
Martinez 92 and Munar 172
Form
Gonzales and Moteni are 10-1 this year 4-0 indoor.
Martinez and Munar haven't played together since 2018 and is 1-1 indoor in their career.
We know both Munar and Martinez is clay players, so how have they done indoor?
Munar is 3/4 in his career indoor in doubles and Martinez 4/5, so combined they have 7 double wins in their career together.
Gonzalez has 70 by himself and Moteni 15...
Both Munar and Martinez is already out of the singles. So do they really want to stay in Bulgaria for the week? It's 14 degrees (57.2°Fahrenheit) and rain.. not sure these Spaniards like it there.
If they would stay and really go for the title they would win $15,360 to share and 250 points, they clearly don't care about the double points and the prize money?
Munar made $76k in US open by losing the first round and Martinez made $115k with this second-round loss and 9k last week by winning in Sevilla back home in Spain.
Total Prize Money Won
Munar: $2,035,221
Martinez: $1,594,142
Gonzales: $2,310,678
Moteni: $851,506
Munar is 24 and has made almost as much as Gonzales who is 38. Gonzales and Moteni need this money a lot more and should be a lot more motivated.

I don't understand why they are underdogs in this match.
Erlich Jonathan & Inglot Dominic did win in the first round as heavy underdogs. Maybe that's why they are favourites in this one. But if you look at Kontinen & McLachlan who they beat they had only played together 3 times before and are both used to play with another partner.
Erlich and Inglot also won a second set TB, and it's always lotto in the 3rd set.
In this game, we have Middelklopp, who is ranked 28, and Jebavy ranked 100. Jebavy has had trouble finding a partner in recent years, he is still only 31, but he has had 9 (!!) different partners this year.
His highest ranking was 48 back in 2017, when he won 7 titles in a year.
I think he is glad to be back with Middelklopp now, with who he won his biggest tournament in St Petersburg 2017. Together they have reached four finals (Only one win). The most recent one was this year in Kitzbuhel, Austria.
They have played 35 matches together 22/13 compared to Erlich and Inglot, who has only played two times together, one in the last round and one game back in 2013.
Erlich is, by the way, 44 years old as well.
I won't be surprised if the odds have dropped before the game tomorrow.

@Bjorn_Borg This makes a lot of sense to me. Tailing + money line to be safe.
I have ML as well as last game in a parlay.
They did start slow the first match and lost the first set but they stepped up after that. I expect them to start strong in this one. Nika out as well in singles so another factor.

TODAY, 16:00, Mouilleron-Le-Captif challenger, a round of 16, indoors
Olivetti, Reese / Begemann, Zelenay
First time Olivetti and Reese play together.
Olivetti is 34/26 this year and has played 7 finals with 5 different players this year. (2 titles both indoors)
Reese is 30/20 reached 5 finals with 3 different players (2 titles both on Clay)
They both have shown this year that they don't have too many problems playing with different partners and 64 wins combined.
Begemann and Zelenay Igor have played 5 games together this year 2 wins 3 losses.
Bergemann is 37 years old and is 13/19 this year, his best year was 7 years ago 2014 when he won two ATP doubles tournaments, this is the first year he has had more losses than wins, so I think he is starting to see the end of his professional career.
He is playing with 39-year-old Igor Zelenay who is 12/19 this year and also is seeing this career coming to an end.
