@Uman
Your money is burning your pocket eh . Good Luck
Sure, was hoping she could of have pulled it off. Last year's finalist just too tough. It was worth the shot. The bone we have to pick is with ESPN showing the Shelton match over this match.

Even though the majors have started distributing equal pay to the ladies, they should make them play 5 sets like the men do. Equal pay should be equal play, otherwise no one has ever watched a grueling mens 5 setter...just look at the current Choinski/Carballes match at over 4 hours in the 5th set in this heat....
Why should the ladies be paid the same if they can complete their matches in 3 sets....
3 sets for equal pay in majors
5 sets for men
Aside from the majors, ok pay them the same, as both have the option to play 3 setters, but 5 is whole nother story....I'd like to see the ladies play 5 set matches in the majors in this heat to earn the same pay....
Just my .02 cents as I read the Sabalenka comments from last week about the equal pay issue which the Tennis Association has said they would fix come 2028 I believe...
Just my rant....but let's play

I would pay attention to that Kudermetova/Mertens match...could be an upset there...Mertens at that death line of -179 which is a FU line to the bettors...Kuder can hang here I beleive...plus, with a female name like Kuder how can you not be interested...Kuder for teh upset

@wgomel21
I honestly would like to see the women play 5 setters in majors....I'm all for equal pay, but it should be earned with the same playing field as well...in other sports, it boils down to advertising money so I get why they are paid less...I mean, who is watching WNBA as opposed to NBA...it's a huge difference, however in tennis the filed/court is the same and it's just a tournament where tv viewing can have whatever match they wish to have out to the public...the advertising/sponsorship dictates these purses anyway...it's just how it works...but let's see these ladies go 5 sets...let's see how conditioned they really are...

@bringit
You are probably right, was in the dark most of the match. Had no idea what was going on, then came the honey dew list. After carpool will get in my war room and get back to work. Your plays should be posted in here don't you think. Superstitious pal.
