I had Pella set spread in a parlay and was very impressed with Thiem's performance...not used to seeing that kind of consistent dominance throughout a match from him on a hard court.

It seems he could be finally exercising some demons in that regard. He's definitely a live dark horse in this tournament.

Thiem isnt likely winning this match...Kudla not playing badly, but Thiem is choking with zero 1st serves and tons of head scratching forehand errors.

There&#x2019;s no way to handicap matches played in the first major of the year after the offseason. It&#x2019;s not about their games in these absurd temps. It&#x2019;s about who is in shape and who ate donuts over the holidays. In regular temps it&#x2019;s just about their games.
