I don't want to get involved in this match from a betting perspective, however you are being unduly harsh on Tomic. Let's step back and look at the facts?
Tomic is 4-4 on clay this season and only one first round exit. While not elite by any stretch of the imagination, he lost to Stepanek (pick), Lopez (1.60 fav), Montanes in three (close to a pick) and Dolgopolov in three (1.40 fav). You are trying to paint a picture that Tomic can't handle himself on clay. Based on what... two weeks of solid yet unspectacular tennis? The kid is 19 and his clay game is vastly improving.
That being said, Giraldo is a tough opponent and I won't be betting today, but I think you're awfully quick to dismiss Tomic. The tone of your writing suggests you are bitter at being burnt by Tomic on a previous occasion. Try and look at it objectively.
