Townsend has been ridiculous on the doubles court this year and in mixed doubles I tend to like to fade the weakest link on court and that is certainly not Taylor even though Errani has had a great year herself. &#xA;This pair first played the USO together 13 years ago when Taylor was 15 and made the semis here ten years ago. They have been family friends since childhood and Young&#x27;s father was Taylor&#x27;s first coach and was the one who got her to switch over to playing left-handed. Taylor won her first slam this year and she would love nothing more than to help Donald win his for his swan song. &#xA;I really think they&#x27;ll do it.

Young is awful&#x2026; damnn, poor Taylor. I don&#x27;t understand how they reached the final.

Young was always awful in singles. Dude is retiring to play pickleball.  It is like a professional baseball player retiring to play softball. Shame on him.
