I'm taking Tsonga ML in this one.. On paper you sure would pick Federer because of the greatness he has shown over the years, but if you look how well Tsonga have played in this tournament you might reconsider.
Tsonga have not lost a single set so far, and he got all the city backing him each and every point he plays on the court, i really think that have effected him in a good way throughout those last games with him showing he can play the game.
If you look at Federer i think he was rather lucky in an unlucky way.. Weird saying it like this , but i mean he wasn't contested the way he should meeting players he could beat asleep. This resulted in him getting shocked in that last game versus Gilles Simon, where he almost lost in a 5 set game. With now playing against Tsonga there should be a reason to believe he looses.
I believe we will see a Tsonga fully motivated by the fans just as Simon was but in this case Federer meets a better player an will come out short.

You think Tsonga will be motivated by the fans? Every French guy feels exra pressure from the crowd. Tsonga even said last year no French player will ever win the French Open. You say Federer hasn't been tested yet who has Tsonga beaten?
Fed is the better clay court player, the guy knows if he reaches the final he has a chance to face Novak instead of Nadal and in Feds head he believres he could beat Novak

I think that is the case yeah .. You didn't hear the way Tsonga was sayin it ? It was a joke, haha. 3 of those 4 contesters he have met recently has been in decent form in 2012-2013 season.
Federer on the other side met the overrated Benneteau, ( 2 +100 ranked) and Simon..
Federer is not a perfect clay - player , and after what he showed against Simon, i'm not confident betting on him playing a Tsonga on fire.. Normally i'll bet Federer in this spot , but not this year.. I know if Federer plays like he uses to, he plays the final against Nadal .

If Fed woulda pounded Simon in str sets he be -250 or more , I think he was looking ahead and took Simon for granted agree with Hauk Fed is way better clay better than JO

I feel better for the over a little now that Tsonga took a set. Its clear that Fed looks stronger on clay court. Last time Fed lost in straight sets is to Joker. Tsonga is nowhere near as good as Joker on clay.
