I vote YES!!! Osaka to shock the world!!! She has the exact mentality to beat the lummox...care free and foot-loose with the correct attitude Changing of the guard...perhaps...it is the WTA where the players win more games from breaks of serve than serving waiting for the lines
I have the same idea in mind but that is like wishing on a shooting star. Possible IMHO

serena is playing free and easy which is when shes at her best. she says she already won regardless of results because shes back on the court after dealing with life threatening health scare not long ago. she have steam roll so far, osaka very good but i think she prob lose too, but u never know with the broads!! serena was crying i think 2 matches ago after winning a game!! headcases!!

Very hard to bet against Serena here if we just look at the "first timer finals" experience angle...if Osaka faces anyone else in the world tomorrow id say yes she would get my backing, but here she is facing the GOAT at the USOpen...the chips couldnt be more stacked against the kid here...will she freeze up and play similiarly to Sevastova and poop her panties? I think the chances are quite good that Osaka comes back down to earth and becomes another Serena road kill, but the match will be competitive...64 64 Goat?

I don't think Osaka will beat Serena. Serena is in fact the GOAT and now she's in form. She beat a very sharp Sevastova and wll do the same to Osaka.
Another point about Osaka is that she didn't beat Maddy Keys...Maddy beat Maddy. Same is true for Tsurenko. I bet on Osaka both of those matches because I knew that her opponents would beat themselves with UFEs.....

I strongly disagree, Osaka played a perfect match, went toe to toe with Keys and didn't flinch...the way Osaka served and played when facing bps on her serve was nothing short of GOAT-like...she showed tremendous poise for a kid playing in her 1st slam semi...Keys did what Keys does, goes for crazy winners and wild forehands and never went to plan B when she obviously needed to change tactics...Osaka earned last night's win

respect your opinion pack....you didn't feel that Keys couldn't maintain a rally at all?
i'm not saying Keys didn't play well, and i'm not saying she choked, she just got outplayed when it mattered the most...she seemd tight and nervous from the start, hitting a few forehand errors into the net which is always a sign shes off..Keys will never do well consistently until she learns how to defend in a rally and be more patient...she hit some incredible winners but that can't overcome the errors she hits when it matters the most.

Not a chance Serena loses tomorrow. She laid down to kerber at Wimbledon and it was arguably her worst big match ever. Serena is ready and I don’t see any chance she lays down to osaka, the 20 year old. This was Serena’s tournament before it started and it’s gonna be hers tomorrow. I like Osaka but Serena will impose her will upon the youngster.

Madison is always hot and cold every match. It's her style. Osaka played a really good match keep a lot of balls deep.
Despite I think serena threw the wrinkle coming in a lot to put that in sasha head bc they go back and show she has other dimensions which he already knew. Serena wins in straights.

Has anyone else noticed Serena face mole doubling or tripling in size over the past year? That thing is massive compared to recent years...HGH is a mighty dangerous thing
