Two I like for sure at plus money. One other as my crazy-out from left field long shot.
-Swiatek women’s winner +155. Not going to get cute. She’s on a whole other stratosphere from anyone else like I have seen in a long time. I saw somewhere she was at +750 or so to not drop a set all of Wimbledon, but I don’t think that’s a wise wager.
-First time men’s winner (yes) +150. Not feeling it for Djoker. Sorry, I stand by what I stated months ago- he won’t win another major. And Nadal’s section is loaded and this event isn’t his forte anyways. Only other past winner btw in this field is Murray.
- Taylor Fritz men’s winner +13,000. Getting this in now, as I think he wins Eastbourne tomorrow and the odds drop. Playing well now. Do I expect him to so much as make the quarters? Not really. But I think these odds are crazy-out-of-whack and he shouldn’t be that substantial more of a long shot than say, FAA or Hurckaz, who are around +1500.

Hurkacz is a popular pick I’m seeing. I could definitely see that, it’s just seems every time there’s a trendy pick, it doesn’t pan out. But he’s a viable option at those sort of odds, as is FAA. I’m happy to grab Swiatek at any sort of plus money. It’s much harder anyhow to target a women’s champ in the same odds range as a Hurkacz. Too much can happen- and usually does on the women’s side. Let’s get filthy rich my friend starting Monday!

I’m not predicting shit but it’s absolutely foolish to say djoker will not win another major when he’s still healthy and still young enough, and most importantly nobody really on his level when he’s on. There’s nothing to suggest he will not win another major, maybe if he’s barred from playing both of his favorite hard court major from here on, Aussie and us open, even then I will be shocked if he doesn’t win at least one more French or Wimbledon before he retires.

Djokovic is 35 and has struggles putting away what should be far inferior players, and again today vs Kwon. He’s not over the hill and I’m not saying you can’t be the right one in my prediction. But you are missing a big part of the picture. Part of this is predicated on his number of opportunities. You do realize his situation as it pertains to the US snd Australian Opens, or don’t you?? Don’t mind people disagreeing, but it’s amazing the number of a-holes who have suddenly poked their heads in the tennis forum in the past day without a single pick of their own, as alluded to by Packersbackers.

When you make an outrageous claim, expect to be called out for the foolishness of it, and if you happen to be right, i will tip my hat, very very unlikely unless he gets a career ending injury or something like that... but as of right now, it's as foolish as it sounds. Obviously I know the Aussie and US open situation, I even mentioned that in my post, but I don't those restriction will stand forever and perhaps will be lifted sooner rather than later, as it did with French open and Wimbledon. Even just French Open and Wimbledon, I simply cannot see Djoker not winning those again, he will absolutely win more French open/wimbledon before all said and done.
You simply cannot write off the GOAT in Tennis knowing he will have a chip on his shoulder to chase Nadal to cement the GOAT conversation.

There’s nothing outlandish about the prediction. As of right now, he will have teo opportunities a year once he’s 36. Either of us can only speculate on the fate of his participation at Melbourne or Flushing Meadows. And one of those is the French Open, which of course is still more likely to be won by the same aged veteran Nadal. Of course Nadal can be had by Djokovic at Roland Garros- as what happened in 2021. And he was struggling vs Kwon today, something that has become very commonplace versus players he should be manhandling in straights. No shock if the result is that your right and I’m wrong, but stiop acting like I predicted Vanderbilt to beat Alabama in football.

I mean djoker hasn't looked like hes in his peak form, which is understandable considering the amount of competitive games he has played, but I fully expect him to rise up to the challenge when it was called for, he doesn't have to absolutely demolish the inferior opponents to show that he's capable to win another major, and he's by far the odds on favorite for a reason.
I still remember a few years back when djoker got issues with personal life and motivation issue and then got into a drought and everyone was saying how djoker was done winning major and shit like that, that didn't turn out too well. For generational talent like djoker, arguably the goat... it has to be injury to end his career, or someone out there that will stop him at all cost... there isn't someone on djoker level at all on all courts aside of clay which nadal could beat djoker on any given day. Someone like Federer only stopped winning because he simply could no longer beat djoker, thats the only reason he stopped winning, there's nobody who could stop djoker when hes on a mission to win it.
