More of a fade play on Zhang here, she has already played 13 matches this month single/double. She is in great form so think she will be confident going into US open next week where she will play both singles and doubles so don't want to risk anything here.
Siniakova haven't played lot this year, been injured and desperate for some wins, her double partner krejcikova is playing this event as well, so I'm sure they want to go deep this week to get their double game going again. They have only played one game since then won Wimbledon and it was a first-round loss last week.
Siniakova reached Quarterfinal here last year so she will have some points to defend. She is also 2-0 H2H against Zhang.

Oh Dart, only converted 2 out of 15 break chances. Those kind matches are the worst don’t mind her losing 6-0, 6-0, but when they lose when they are clearly the better player it’s frustrating.

Still don’t buy Djere on hard, his been very lucky this week. Won all his 4 matches 2-1 and two of them in 3rd set TB.
he have faced 38(!) break chances and saved 28 of them 73%.
he has only had 26 break chances himself so he have faced much more than he have had and still won 4 matches. He has converted 12 out of this. 46% vs the 27% of his opponents.
Huesler have served niches better and only faced 7 break balls vs Djeres 38…
He has also been more clinical wining 50% 11/22 break chances he had.
