Sorry wgomel I just now (10:07 pm) checked in on your thread. So, I didn’t see your post. Thanks and sorry at the same time! You doing ok? I made a few small winning bets this afternoon on Champions League soccer. I had some NHL experts try to talk me out of my Columbus play tonight, but I’m hardheaded! I’m still playing Columbus ML -130.

Wow! Canes comfortably scored (6) goals! Outstanding! Dang! I didn’t check in because I thought you might be taking a break. It is ok! My fault! I should have checked in anyhow!

I am on break. Still working it just idle wagering on plays.

What's concerning as we cannot even hit a practice play. Typically, these hit making me want to wager again.

Questions for tomorrow morning:
1. Does Paolini cover spread, hit the over, or win straight up?
2. How motivated will Sabalenka and Rybakina be?
Sabalenka has already won the group and has also clinched the year end #1 ranking. She can add $350k to her prize purse with a win but she surely has her eyes set on winning millions here and I wonder how much staying fresh factors into her play. Sabalenka is competitive so it's hard to imagine her just folding but this is a unique situation with what's at stake.
For Rybakina her tournament is over either way, win or lose. So it's not like she's fighting for a chance to hang in there. But she still has some incentive to win since she would be rewarded with $350k as well as 200 ranking points. For reference, that would be around the same amount of points a player would earn by making a semi-final at a 500 or a quarterfinal at a 1000. So Rybakina could earn those points with one win and it's not hard to imagine a scenario sometime next year when she may be in need of those extra points to fill in holes from time she missed from injury.
