Totally agree on Brengle. Yastremska is a bit of a basher, but I feel like she often beats herself. She's only 21 years old, which is part of it.
I didn't watch Yastremska's match with Tauson. Looking back on the stats, I do see that Tauson and Yastremska had 12 and 6 double faults, respectively. That's concerning. Dayana will need to clean that up in order to handle Brengle like we all know she theoretically should (considering the weapon disparities). So yeah...my bet is based on Yastremska playing under control. Not a guarantee by any means, but I think that with age and experience Yastremska is going to be moving in that direction as the weeks and months pass.
As for Brengle, you know what you're getting. It's so mediocre, yet so often it's enough. Women's tennis can be weird like that.
