5O K update, Nice wins by both Teddy and Prez yesterday,14-7 and 12-9 respectively,Teddy hasn't lost lost more than twice a row since this challenge began.Anyone could conceivably be up 26 units betting Prez and Teddy's games on a progressive wagering system (meaning that if lose the bet you double up the next game, of course betting 2-5% of ur starting bankroll. A 100 dollar player can probably be up close to 10k at the end of this challenge and never have to actually risk more than 500 a game.My record stands at 12-9 and my play today will be on CHA-SA OVER 179. I will post prez and Ted's picks as soon as they come up.

Prez,
You should take with Covers.com and have them look into modifying the posting forums.  I would like to see the ability to post on the forums from my IPhone.  IPhone users just don't have the ability to do this.   I can't possibly be the only person that has tried to post before from IPhone.

mg - i will for sure talk to covers about this - in regards to teddy having more time to cap - not even close - if you listen to the show you know i have a whole staff behind me working on my stuff - i make no bones about it - i represent a group we call team prez and we spend more than 50 man hours a day coming up with picks - it also is why i play more than most of the experts on covers.
 
luck 44 and lump - 44 - im hating on your double up theory - may i ask what happens if you lose 2 in a row - do you continue doubling or go back to your original bet - teddy has a funny double up story (nightingale theory) - he literally played red on roulette and actauly lost like 800 or so times in a row - ill get him to talk about it again tomorrow - he lost his life savings just after university doing this

This is a good short term proposition,if you are confident about ur capping abilities .Obviously you have to set a stop loss of about 5 games in row..The true odds on randomly picking 5 losers in a row are 31-1.If you have a goal to pick up 30 units Over a course of 2 months and a whole menu of games to choose from chances are very good you will succed.Ive had great success with this formula.Ive been wagering since 1982 and i can certainly tell you one thing its alot easier to go 1-0 than it is 3-2.

Prez,
I noticed that most of your payed plays are almost always 700 per pick.  Is this a strategy of yours? Do you ever bet more or less than that depending on how much you like the play? Personally I like to wager different amounts depending on how strong my lean is on a particular pick. I have tried betting the same amount on every pick over a period of time, and one bad week wiped out my winnings.  Maybe I should have given it a little more time? Whats your opinion on the issue? Thanks.

mikeg - thx for the question - im a grinder to the core man - most of my plays are the same unit rating - that is how i prefer to bet - just slow and steady try make a good return every year - there are many theories on this topic - but for me personally - i NEVER parlay ever and i usually play the same amount on every bet give or take slightly.

50k Update, Nothing but winners here.Teddy(15-7) picked up his 4th game in a row with ohio,Prez(13-9) had an easy winner on Western Kentucky,i hit my play with the cha-sa over which puts me at (13-9) and lumpiddy fell short with the cavs,but is having a great run here playing along his rtd at(14-8). My selection today is the HOUSTON ROCKETS-2.5 as the line is right now at bookmaker.com. GL everyone lets pick up the scratch today.

The Martingale System is predicated on randomly chosen 50-50 propositions (such as spreads or totals) hitting at a fairly regular rate, and not picking a particular number (eg.35) on the Roulette wheel and waiting for it to hit. Teddy, I appreciate how awful you must have felt and subsequent desire to blame it on "Martingaling" but really, the true odds were never that great when you were being so specific in your choice of play. 
 
Picking a spread or total would seem to make Martingaling or "doubling down" look a bit more appealing than your example from the show today. 
 
I am not advocating it as a wise strategy; nor do I use it personally.  I just think your example may not constitute a fair critique of Martingale practitioners
