busy day tomorrow. gotta get to work early and then a concert with the wifey in the evening, so i am going to make my pick and post now. taking golden state -7.5 at home against the rockets. rockets should come out with passion after the warriors crushed them at home a few days ago. that being said, it's a matchup league, and this appears to be a bad matchup for them. warriors are 3-0 with three double-digit wins on the season, and their home environment is one of the toughest in the league. neither team is in a rough stretch of the schedule, but i would give the slight travel/fatigue edge to the warriors because houston is traveling from central to west coast and the warriors' starters have played very light minutes in the last two because the games were well in hand. also don't think josh smith is any better fit in houston than he was in detroit. his numbers are just as mediocre, and they are only 9-6 since his arrival even though they're in a weak stretch of their schedule. 33-6 leads me to believe that the warriors are motivated on a nightly basis, so i'm hoping they will be able to match the intensity of the team trying to salvage a single win for the season series.
also, while i have a moment, i will address a few other posts...
@LaCaze, i am not a rookie. the Covers Streak Contest was not the beginning of my sports gambling career. i've used sports betting as a means to supplement my income for the better part of the last decade. i just started playing the streak contest on this site last month, and getting off to a good start this month was the only reason i started spending more than 2 minutes per day on it. though i am not a capper or professional, i am also not a novice that throws a dart at the wall with his eyes closed and hopes for the best. i know it's ridiculous for someone like me to advise a seasoned veteran like yourself on anything in life, but i would suggest that in the future you spend less time diminishing the accomplishments of others and more time achieving your own.
@Westud, thank you for the suggestion. though i agree it would be a sound financial decision to hedge at some point, i don't have that kind of money sitting around. if i don't win another game this month and all i get is the $1000 i've already earned, i will still be thrilled to have had the experience. i am humbled and honored to be in this position, and i'm grateful to covers for affording me the opportunity to earn money without risking it.
@everyone else, thank you for your continued support. i hope for your sake and mine that i can keep it going as long as possible.

What an amazing accomplishment,and im not really talking about his streak.Im talking about how some people are coming on here, trying to fade him and get him fired up,and this guy remains calm,cool and collective.Doesnt brag or talk down to people,doesnt say how smart he is,just very humbly makes his picks,and is happy just winning what he has already won.He just seems like a very decent guy,i wouldn't mind seeing a guy like this winning the whole thing.Keep up the good work Brackson.
