At first glance that number makes me nervous...but its refreshing to read Brackson13's well constructed posts with convincing logic and rationale...win or lose you're a very classy guy and a real human being and not just some average (big bad) joe wise guy spewing a diatribe in an effort to get people signed up for a newsletter or join a website and all of that blah blah blah. Just a classy dude on a great streak...we don't know you personally but the admiration for sure goes beyond the streak. I'm with some of these other folks who thought it would be pretty cool if you held out for the Super Bowl. That would be a great party with 75K on the line. Talk about a lock....Seattle will control that game against a team that barely beat the Jets twice and were gashed on a number of occasions on the ground...and had to use trick plays to beat a Ravens team that wasnt really that good...lynch will go off against the Pats and the Seahawk defense will control the game...won't be a blowout but will be under with a Seahawks victory...Brady will be under lots of pressure....I think Vegas pulled one over on the public with the opening line of -2.5 to 3 on Seattle...this is an all-time great defense against an offense that has had trouble all year running the ball...Blount is not the answer....Brackson13....what are your thoughts? Would love to hear what you have to say on that one.

GL Brackson on the 100k. Though the Portland pick got cancelled, I thought that Boston + the points yesterday was a good pick and turned out to hit. But then again you're the man either way it goes.

i will be taking golden state -9.5 at home against chicago tomorrow night for the $100k.
first and perhaps most importantly, weather.com is calling for mid-50's and partly-cloudy skies at game time, with little to no chance of the game being postponed due to inclement weather. hooray for me.
chicago is in the midst of a brutal stretch of schedule. they've had to travel after each of their last seven games dating back to january 14th, and the seven games include home games against washington, atlanta and san antonio, with road tilts against cleveland and dallas. they get one day off after playing three games in four days, and now they fly to the west coast to begin another three-in-four stretch. when this road trip is over, they will have traveled in between 13 consecutive games. their key contributors also play heavy minutes. in 6 of those last 7 games, they've had at least two starters in the upper 30's or lower 40's in terms of minutes played. it just seems like a terrible time to be playing a team that's tough to defend for 48 minutes on an even playing field.
on the polar opposite end of the spectrum awaits golden state, who hasn't had to travel since a road game at houston on january 17th. they're playing their fifth straight game at home, all of which include an off-day in between. they have not had a player on their roster reach the 35-minute mark in any game thus far on the home stand. after four blowouts, boston gave them a good run in their last game and kept it much closer than expected. i'm hoping that this will provide the same kind of reaction that an unexpected loss would, and that they come out tomorrow night with renewed focus and attention to detail and pull away in the second half due to their substantial advantage in fresh legs.
sorry for picking the 10:30 tip. i know this upsets some of the spouses of the forum posters (myself included). if you've tailed me to this point, you should be up a chunk of change. please be smart with the way you structure your wagers and make sure this is still the case regardless of tomorrow's outcome. i'd like to think i made a positive impact on the lives of others when this is all said and done. may you all have a wonderful day tomorrow leading up to the game.

Brackson-good luck bro-hopefully I can give you some advise-
I won a huge royal straight flush jackpot in Vegas when I was your age many years ago-got tons of people trying to give me advice and you won't need most of it.
I would consider a hedge for sure since something is always better than nothing-if you have investors, they need to know they're paying the taxes as well or screw them. They still benefit.
You of course can write off all loses in gambling against your winnings but don't bet extra for that reason.
You should not think you're spooked by the storm-why change your thinking-you could say maybe you would have lost too.
I'm sorry but not surprised you felt anxiety but I guarantee you made a ton of money for many who never knew you on 1/1 and even if you didn't, no question you never asked them to do it. Please do not feel any nervousness going forward-or see a therapist.
By the way, I took my winnings and bought good quality stocks after the 1987 crash and they did very well. Oil futures or Exxon might be a good idea by Spring as it ain't going below $30-35 and you can make more than you get now.
GL brother!
A hedge at this point is a mistake. He's guaranteed $25k. A hedge would guarantee him another $25k, while he has a chance to win $75k with #25. He's get 2:1 on his money by letting it ride and not hedging.

I'm completely shocked that the pick is Golden St -9.5 against probably the toughest defensive team the Warriors have seen in a month.. The Bulls match up very well with this team ..The Bulls are just as rested as the Warriors are..This should be alot closer than people think... i can actually see the Bulls winning on the floor Golden St is good but they are more than due for a loss... and the Bulls are possibly the best team on the road in the nba with a 16-6 record... Goodluck you are gonna need it....

Bulls have way toooo much talent to be getting +10 in this game. Golden State in my opinion not as good as there record. Also really good coach for the Bulls that will have them up for this game.

Brackson has made several picks that fly in the face of "conventional wisdom" and won every one of them. I back him on this pick and have put my money where my mouth is! Good Luck Brackson!

Wonder if the players have caught wind of this streak...
Now, that's the most interesting and possibly BEST post I've seen on this whole board in a long time. I mean that too. There are so many directions to go with that statement IF they actually DO know about it.

I'm not sure where alcatrazcc pulled this "Bulls best road team in NBA", or "Toughest defense Warriors have seen in a month"...?
If you go by just the numbers these statements aren't true. Warriors hosted the Heat (#1 team defense), Pacers (#7 team defense), Thunder (#11 team defense), and Rockets (#14 team defense) in the month of January....the Bulls are #15 in statistical team defense. Bulls have a 16-6 road record but if we look closer who have they really beat?.. Grizzlies? The Clippers back in November? Toronto? Of the 16 wins maybe 5 are considered quality wins by the numbers. I've watched every Warriors game (season ticket holder) and almost every Bulls game, the match ups and overall system do not favor the Bulls in my humble opinion. Let us make sure we know what we are talking about before we go posting nonsense on this gentleman's thread.
Cheers,
and good luck to all especially, ...Brackson13
