Alright - back to work.....
I promised to be honest in this thread - so here goes. Do I like you (or the "train" character)? Nope.
You consistently post unavailable lines. You consistently dont explain that you supposedly pay extra to get those lines. You consistently do anything to get attention, such as thread titles and outrageous statements. When confronted, you consistently dodge the issue and blow it off - like you do in your question to me - saying "that is just me".
So no, I dont like what you post. It goes against what I believe this place is for, and is crystal clear why you do it - for attention. Can you tell me a reason to post an unattainable line otherwise? Can you tell me a reason to not explain that you supposedly purchase points, but conveniently dont include those extra costs in your record? Im not an idiot, and surprisingly neither are a lot of other people here. They tolerate you, but know what you are up to.
Is it just a character? Maybe, who knows. But the difference between the vanzack yacht going supermodel blowing character and you is that I draw the line at gambling. I shoot it straight, and feel that if you are posting a pick it is to help people out. Why do you post picks? Try to answer that honestly because I cant come to any other answer that doesnt insult my intelligence other than attention.
There is nobody that gets better lines than you. There is nobody that could get as good of lines as you - you get the best line possible in every market over the life of the market. If you could do this, I would hire you. So the question is - why do you post that? To stir up shit? Maybe. But you could stir up shit in other ways. You do it because you like others to think you are better at handicapping than you really are. A phony for no reason.
I made a couple of posts in your thread about it, but largely leave you alone. Everyone knows what you are about at this point, it doesnt take me to create a debate with you to shine the light in - it is very bright in there already.
Thats the truth. You asked for it.
Thats pretty much what I thought you would say. Apparently you havent ventured in to the college bball forum where lines move against me daily. You are referring to NFL and college football, when games are "on the market" for a week. You are usually haggling about my picks by a point or the hook. I dont see why its unimaginable that in a weeks time I can find or get a better line than some people. There are dozens of books and lines flucuate heavily from book to book.
Me not posting that I but the hook or posting my units won helps nobody. I post what I play and I challenge you to find 1 single play that "was never available", either straight or by buyinga hook. I could be 100-1 and down money. I keep coming here year in and year out because this is a hobby and one I am good at. I dont do this for a living, but pay attention to every sport. I dont use a spreadsheet as thats too high school style for me. I like to be entertained and thats where the thread titles come in, they bring out the best and the worst.
I find it funny you dont bet on NCAA bball as it is one of the easier sports to bet on.
But, to each his own. People not liking me here is nothing new. Been winning for a long time, and that will put you under the microscope. Now its suddenly "Hey, you must have bought a hoo" or "no way you bet that on sunday when the lines came out".....bunch of crybaby bs. I'll just keep racking up the winners.

Look - dont ask a question you dont want to know the answer to. I find it funny that out of all of the questions asked in this thread, you asked a question ABOUT YOURSELF. It is very telling.
You have yet to answer my questions. I asked several direct questions, and you avoided them. There is no reason to post lines that are unattainable, or ignore that you bought points, only to post your record later and brag aobut it - other than attention. Please tell me where I go wrong with this.
Either way, its no problem. Keep doing what you do. But you arent fooling anyone. Dont you see in this thread alone how many people see you for what you are but dont want to debate you? Let it go. You need attention. There are worse things in the world to be.

I have never met a single person from covers ever. Im not against it, but it has never been the right circumstances.
2. Where is your favorite place (hotel) to stay in Vegas?
I havent been to Vegas since about 2005. I stayed at the Wynn, nice place. Im pretty sure I am going to get out there to check out the M casino because of everything I hear about their sportsbook and live betting.
3. Please tell the story of getting kicked out of a large US bank for the weird Carribean square check.
I had a couple of accounts at a large well known bank. The large square check from Pinnacle was just the last straw in a series of mis-steps I had because of inexperience. I was transferring in and out from neteller dozens of 5K ins and outs every week (I think 5k was the max they would allow at the time in one transaction) - and I didnt even try to hide it. It would just be 5k, 5k, 5k, 5k 5k rapid fire every day. I made the mistake of believing because it was legal, that the bank would welcome it. Wrong.
So I got the check from Pinnacle (BTW, how many people can say they got a check from Pinnacle pre 2007? Probably very few). It was square, and looked like a coupon your would use at a supermarket. I was cocky (afterall, it was totally legal, and I wasnt hiding anything) so I marched up and tried to deposit it - like it was a check from my neighbor or something. They had a conference of tellers behind the glass, and since they had never seen anything like it - they called over the mgr who proceeded to tell me that they were worried about my acct activity and that I should call a VP of the bank that she gave me a card.
(as Im writing this, I took a flyer and did a search on my comp and realized I still have a scan of this check. It is drawn on Maduros and Curiels Bank - yes that is the real name - and signed by Maduro and Curiel themselves!!)
So anyway, I dont call the bank, but I get a certified letter about 3 days letter telling me to pack up my shit and get out. It was not nice. This was my first experience with this - it has happened to me once since - so I was a little panicky. I called my lawyer at the time and he told me something like (put on a sopranos accent) "Look. They dont like you. Who the fuck cares. You didnt break any laws, but if your local sub shop didnt like you, you might not be eating turkey sandwiches any time soon. Go get another sub shop." That was all I needed to hear.
4. How many books do you post up with online? Ever go for the riskier ones or been there, done that?
I have never posted up at a risky book, not even one penny. It is against my DNA. 5 years ago, I had about 20 books. Today - it pains me to type this - I have 3. Pinnacle, MB, and Betfair - and honestly - I dont know if I still have MB (but can get it if I want I think). I seriously might be on an extended break after soccer ends.
5. Was there any single event that made you go "you know what? I could probably do this for a living and be successful?"
Yes. I remember the moment. Sitting in an endless corporate douchebag meeting, I just had enough. The light went on. I had enough put away to live on comfortably for at least 3 years, so I took a chance. I wish I was as smart gamblingwise 10 years ago as I am today because I could have made a lot more money and avoided some costly mistakes - but such is life. I consider myself to be very fortunate, and understand the luck it has taken to get to where I am.
