it sounds like College has been making plays at several books... so does your boy work at all of them? Or is he a mind reader?

And as long as you're spilling the beans, why don't you tell College what book he works at?

I really could just see this Milwaukee team going on a horrid ATS losing streak now (considering there ATS record was so good before all star break)

it's always risky betting on terrible teams like Denver, but I feel the Bucks have fallen so far off themselves now and them laying -6 on the road is a complete joke.

See that's where you lose me and prove yourself to be unable to see the big picture when it comes to the NBA and the Lakers in particular, a team I've followed much of my life.

You believe because you won the game, the larger message of the lakers tanking the season is thereby dismissed (referring to it as nonsense).

There isn't a single poster here with even a granule of NBA capping sense that would disagree with the Lakers tanking sentiment and why taking them on any given night puts you in a tenuous betting position. You simply do not know when or when they will not show up, and there have been a hell of a lot of nights they haven't shown up.

You did the same thing with the Clippers Spurs game (said "I won didn't I" and that somehow negated the fact the Clippers weren't deep).

Fortunately, I was reminded of the Scott vs. Kidd angle (kidd got scott fired and this game could be viewed as Scott's revenge of sorts). This is something that you most certainly benefited from but was completely off your radar. The lakers went out and promptly lost at home by 11 to the OKC B-Team the very next game getting 3.5, again at home, hence, you simply don't know when they are going to show up.

Also in my write up about that game I was quite clear in noting that the bucks are a team in flux with MCW starting which is why you had a chance at a win. The bucks are bad right now...agreed. I made no pick and simply pointed out much of what your write-up dismissed.

I've done the same tonight. This to me is not a game that jumps out at me or warrants a K play.

You have one angle to get you over the hump and that is the firing. There is a sense of renewed optimism/hope for bad teams when this happens. This can propel a terrible team to victory, possibly a big one. Yes 6 is quite a premium for a bucks side and certainly not one anyone would be frothing at the mouth to grab. But the bottom feeders of the NBA know no boundaries to respectable losses, +6 or otherwise. And you say the bucks are playing "terrible terrible basketball" but you chose the one team that warrants 5 or even 10 "terribles" before the word basketball. And you are getting 6 to compensate for that. Not sure if that's adequate compensation.

Again, interesting but dangerous game and W or L, most certainly not a K play if I were in Vegas.
