Most can't seem to comprehend the concept of not thinking in terms of "days" and number of bets per day. Van put it well when he asked, "do you want to win days, or do you want to win money?"

That's why the "best bet per day" strategy or setting parameters of how many bets you place per day nonsense is just that, nonsense.

you do realize he's 0-5 because of you.  When are you leaving so he can start winning again?  he's a pro now.  he doesn't need a job.  What he needs is for you leeches to go back home.

CG knows he messed up. He knew his plays were bad and he had a built in excuse if they lost. Let's just hope he takes some time off and is not back in Jersey in three weeks. YOU ARE STILL UP 3 GRAND!! GET IT TOGETHER AND START ANEW AFTER YOUR FAMILY LEAVES. Please of please no K plays tomorrow.

dont sweat it man. Just because you family is there…actually apologize them man. No need to burn bridges. I mean, while they are there take time off from betting…you are up thousands. MORE THAN YOU WOULD MAKE IN WEEKS AT YOUR OLD GIG. SO just lay low and hang with them….dont force garbage and rush stuff. YOU HAVE A YEAR! MINIMUM. There is no need to force or rush plays…..your profession you have choices as to when you want to work. You didn't have that in Jersey. Sit back and chill. Get through the family period, maybe make a play you love…and roll with it

Scal, as you can see, CG is very hard headed and thinks he knows everything. The sad thing is he is pretty darn good at picking winners but his chasing is going to do him in. I thought he has rectified it because he had been so good being disciplined but two K plays against two of the top 5 teams after going 0-2 the night before is not sound. I know bc I have done it a bunch and there is nothing worse after u lose the chase bet

This might be true. But why should it be validated? I mean, this is CG's journey and he is cool enough to show us. Regardless of the outcome. The key point being….CG didn't start this thread asking for advice. I understand how him "ignoring people's advice" seems dumb. BUT that's not the point of this. 

Scal, I actually like you as a capper and a poster…you are insightful and make great NFL write-ups (which I follow). BUT this is HIS journey and adventure. He's just posting his plays doing his thing and explaining his rationale behind his plays That's it. Not to mention he is still doing pretty well in the scope of it. 

But people like me, you, and others want to analyze it…and overanalyze it. Yes, our input is important…..TO US. But if he has a way of doing things then so be it. Sit back and enjoy the ride. 

If we want to be so critical and "could do it better" then maybe we should pack up and go to Vegas like him and give it a shot.

But you have made it known you prefer your current job and current state of life. Which is awesome. So just let him do his thing, chime in when you think it's necessary, and if he feels like he needs to heed your advice (or mine or anyone else's), let him follow at his discretion. 

This whole thread is a documentation of one's journey. It's not your money, my money, or anyone else's money that he is making or losing…

What am I getting at? I'm getting at let's be supportive of him no matter how it goes…it's obviously a situation where support is pertinent as opposed to critiques and criticism in a negative light. 

Think about it. It's a cool scenario for all of us. Why would we want him to fail? He's a gambler just like all the rest here…let him do his thing and document it and rationalize it. Even if there is advice that WE find beneficial…he may not.


Nonetheless, BOL CG and keep up the good work buddy. Not every day will be a winner or perfect. Not even close to perfect. It's a grind, a marathon, and a struggle.

 But you got this as long as you keep your head on straight and do your thing and can overcome obstacles like your family coming to visit. But don't take it out on them…I'm sure your family can't relate to what you are doing.

Shake it off and let's move on to the next day!

I guess what I am trying to say is, if you are gonna be negative then don't post it. It's very elementary. You know the saying "if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all". 

I mean why flood his head/thread with negativity. He's already made the decision to pack up and move to Vegas and try his hand. We might as well support and appreciate his efforts and his videos/posts.

Attitude determines your altitude…I really believe in that. 

Let's show this man some support for fuckks sake.

Im 5-5 in K plays now... Started 3-0 then 5-2 so obviously a bad run. But it's not like I'm betting a thousand a game I've made around 60 bets and only 10K plays... I never risked more than 3% of my bankroll on any game.. Some of u idiots don't realize that

I may have missed this question in one of the prior ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY ONE FU*KING pages of posts... but my question to you CG is have you explained to your family that you moved to vegas to become a full-time sports bettor? And if you have, then wouldn't they understand that you need time to work when they're in town? 

And if they're being pushy and insisting on hanging out every second they're in town, then why force the issue with TWO $1000 plays? obviously the florida loss was brutal, but thats basketball..

It just seems like the "family in town" situation is affecting your work, and hopefully you'll learn from it and avoid it in the future.
