He cant.
It is Sunday. He only has 2k in cash. Even Wells Fargo in Vegas isn't open on Sunday.
His bombs have to wait until Monday - which is unfortunate - because with the hoops schedule and his chance to sober up there is a good chance he will rethink it by then. If he had the cash on him, there was a good chance of March 15 being his last day in Vegas, but the inevitable will have to wait a few days/weeks.
Hence the parlay play, and a 2k play today.....sort of surprised that the parlay isn't for a nickel. This is very similar to the 5k bomb that was dropped on the Kings.....we are now in the business of officially chasing the account's high water mark. If the parlay and 2k play hit, then most likely we will be looking to bet the proceeds this evening.
In a way it is good that CG is in vegas, because the most he can lose today is 2200$...unless a trip to the pawn shop is in the offing. If he were on tilt with larger offshore accounts, then every penny of the stake would be in immediate jeopardy.
CG- I have been pulling for you to make a horse race out of this. It is your money, your life, and you can do whatever you want with it...you earned it. But, the last week has been a disaster on so many levels....going to be tough to recover right now with the mental capital being gone.
Play the parlay, then stop for a few days. Adjust your bet size according to what stake you have left, and attack the tournament. You have plenty of money to live on until your rents is due in June....judge where you are at that point, and either press forward with bases, or shut it down until football season. But, the bet sizes have to come down dramatically.
There is still time to reevaluate and attack...but as soon as you go down big, then it is over....you will spend years trying to get it back. Make no mistake, 20k is not a lot of money.......but it will take you years of working a job to save that up again.
BOL with your picks.

This had never occurred to me before but it's a good point. I had been thinking up to this point that him being in Vegas was terrible for him but I think you're right - if he had just quit his job and was playing full-time online he may well have tilted off his entire stack by now.
Then again, with incredibly reduced juice the stack would be higher.
