I am FAR from an expert, but it wasn't necessarily a bad idea to play those last two games IF you felt like you had enough of an edge to warrant the plays. Not making a good play (once again, if your process says it's a good play) is just as bad as reaching and making a bad play IMO. If you let a 4-0 start to a day determine whether or not you can make a play, that's a bad approach if you ask me.
The trick (and it's not an easy one to master or we'd all be doing it) is to stick to your principles. If you go 15-0 and you think you have a 2 point edge on the last game of the day and that falls into your "system," then you almost HAVE to play it. Like I said, bypassing a money making situation (as perceived and calculated based on how you cap) is as bad as guessing and making a play on something you don't see you have an advantage.
From what I see, many pay ALL their attention on avoiding the latter and not nearly enough attention on doing the former.
The worst thing you can do is let something like this affect how you go about your business in a negative way. But I know you know that. That's the hard part.

You had a great day. As long as you liked those games as much as the first four you played it right. Hang in there buddy and +900 is an awesome day always.

Hutch just hit the nail right on the head. If you thought the plays were standard plays for you then you had to play them, and you need not be upset with yourself. 0-4 or 4-0 to start the day, if those games were plays they were plays - period.

If those were plays they would have been placed with the others. Pros find their edge and pounce. Your a degen who has run good. Best of luck! I have never seen a solid capper betting so many top 25 games. I envy your position in life but doubt your chances.

You had perfection.......................and then you chased
Remember this..................
i wouldn't call that even close to chasing. He should've bet them. Results based analysis is a no-no in a situation like that. CG should not be discouraged from playing late games even if he goes 4-0 early, with the corollary being he would've played these games anyways if they were at 1pm and not later in the day.
Keep it up CG

Well that's true tho. I did like both games. If they were played on Sunday I would have bet both. So because I was 4-0 I should stop for the day? It's just I bet the first four together for a reason early in the am. I still won $900 for day and in angry lol. Got two solid plays for on tap today

CG, If the last 2 plays were part of your overall way of picking games, then you had to play them. Just because you were 4-0 earlier has no bearing on your next plays. You have to play all of your plays that are in your system of picking games, if you start picking and choosing plays, you will only hurt yourself. Heres an example. lets say during the course of the basketball season, you are going to have a total of 200 plays that come up for you. You have to play them all and hope you come out ahead, cant guess which ones to play on which day.
You should only be mad at yourself if the 2 late games you played last night were outside of your normal way of picking the plays. Then you should be pissed off.
Look at it like this, how pissed would you be if you passed them, they both won and then today the first 2 games you bet lose?
Got to be them all CG, no matter if its 1 play or 9 plays

2/15/15. Two games I like today and two only. Drove all around town this am looking for the best lines. Purdue -7.5 (-110) $550/$500. William hill had them at -7 all morning I drove to two diff casinos and no joke 20 seconds before I placed bet it changed to -7.5. Smh... Purdue should still romp though. Nebraska is a disgrace on the road and in general. Purdue rock solid at home.

California golden Bears +17.5 (-110) $550/$500. Cal is 5-2 on the road and have won 3 straight on the road. A rare college team who dosent become a bunch of pu$$ies and lose by 10+ every time on the road like 90% of the schools. Utah is a machine but way too many pts. William hill had this one at +17.5 and luckily it didn't change as I was walking to place my bet like Purdue did. Bol all

I spoke to the guys and the best thing for me being a Nevada resident now is def to have a CG technology app, William hill App, stations app and whatever else is listed on Vegasinsider so I don't go crazy driving around town looking for the best odds. Remember first week here so all a learning experience.

CG - When you open these accounts, you are going to have to provide proof of who you are - along with SS#.
Some people are not so willing to have a casino have their tax id number with a running total of what you bet, when you bet, and if you made profit how much profit you made.
Now - if you are planning on paying taxes as expected on your annual wagering (like I know you are going to), there is nothing stopping you from opening accounts. But this is the one major reason a lot of people accept the hassle of driving all around town rather than betting online in Nevada.

I have no record. I claim no knowledge on picking games. On the other hand I do have years experience tailing winning cappers. Again I am enjoying living vicariously through CG but he has a long way to go to make it. I have a strange feeling he might pull it off. I think the best part about this story is he had a dream and he followed. Too often people don't chase their dreams and end up wondering what if? Best of luck bud. I think the best thing you can do is start studying the fuck out of your new profession. Also try and connect with one or two established cappers in Vegas and sit down and pick their brains.

Sounds like solid advice to me.I'd suggest saving every losing ticket also for tax time next year however or whatever you state your occupation/income.If pro gambler, keep a daily journal if audited..
Just an FYI but the Palms (Cantor) Gold Coast (Boyd) and Rio (Caesars) are a few minute walk to each other when parked at the GC to shop lines.Always spaces to park.
No traffic to speak of on W.Flamingo (From Summerlin) as opposed to battling the Strip or downtown?
Just throwing this out there as this is what I do as a tourist..love hanging around the GC race/sportsbook bar with the locals.I fit right in.
