Thanks sir. How bout a shout out to some road dogs actually not playing like pu$$ies on the road for a change and covering some spreads. South Carolina, Texas, Iowa state, unc, ucla to name a few off top of head the last few days. For a while it seems any dog would just get there a$$ drubbed on the road

Many chiming in re. bet size.  Consider this:

Let's say UCLA was getting 10 points tonight.  That was the line.

You have a $30K bankroll and have been betting $550/$500...so we'll say that's a 1 unit play.  So just about 2% of bankroll.

Consider that your standard play.

Now you roll into tonight and you see UCLA +10 on the board against ASU (once again, this is hypothetical).

Do you bet your normal $550/$500 in order to maintain "discipline?"

And if no, why not?

Getting your head around this might help a few people in this thread.

I find your story fascinating. Thing is it feels like lack a true understanding of the math behind betting and bankroll strategy and you've been extremely lucky to get this far. Here is a question and one you need to get sorted. If you place 100 wagers and win at 60% how many units do you profit?

Another thing that scares me is your roll and savings are one in the same. Please tell me that isn't so. If it is quickly change that.

Thanks as always fellas. Here is what I don't undersand... If I bet 3 games at let's say $550 your saying that is perfectly acceptable. Yet if I bet one game at $1100 that is dumb? In the first situation of my hypothetical I am betting under 2% of my roll per game but risking just under 6% of my roll overall and $1650. If I bet $1100 like I did yesterday I am betting around 3-4% of my bankroll but also only risking simply $1100 on the day. You realize yesterday I risked $1100 which was the second least amount I risked overall in my 11 days or so betting out here. I figured that was appropriate after my first bad day on tuesday...

I don't know why anyone is surprised by me hitting at over 60% so far either. I mean after 130+ college football bets I hit around 57%. 120+ nfl bets I hit at 58%. So nothing new here. I just heard many day it's IMPOSSIBLE to hit at around 60% for a full season of betting. It will be difficult to keep up this pace but I see myself in my normal 57% or higher as this journey continues

3DTV- Yes my savings and my bankroll is the same thing. I am only 28 and worked like a slave at a shitt job that paid me very little. The funny thing is the only reason my bankroll got near 30K was because of my BETTING at home. For instance when I came out here sat feb7th I had $640 in my pocket for betting... I turned that into a $4750 profit or $5390 within my first 8 days.... After spending some of it on food, apartment supplies etc I had $5150 in my pocket on Monday morning. And I deposited $3460 in the bank (savings) and kept $1650 to bet with and another $40 or so to use for spending money..... Obviously lost $2090 on Tuesday and went to ATM for my $440/$400 loss on Auburn.... Then yesterday I went into savings for my 1.1K on UCLA. Now I have another 2.1K as my betting bankroll without touching savings. Hopefully I can turn that into another 4-5K and deposit another good chunk in savings and continue the pattern where I always put away nice profit and yet still have money to bet where even if I lose I have to go into the savings numerous times to even get near the profit I deposited in

Right now I have around 1.3K in my checking account. I will use for (bills), 27K in my savings and 2.1K for betting. Obviously this is my profession and if I need to I will go into my savings as many times as I have to so I can bet. But it's been a great start. If my savings does ever get to around 5K then I'll start working on the clock out here because I do like it here and I don't want to go back home to jersey. Obviously tho I am way ahead of the game so far in that regard and feel I can just bet and do what I love full time. So yea between the 3 (checking, savings and cash on me) I have 30K to my name. Hence me betting 1.1K or 3.3% of my bankroll or whatever exactly that was on one game not being a big deal IMO. Especially for a 57% + proven bettor

Well what Vanzack is trying to say is probably it is harder to go 0-3 then 0-1. That's true, but it's also harder to win money by betting three games than it is to by betting one game. And if I bet 3 games at $550 a game I am risking $1650 overall as opposed to one game at $1100 where OVERALL I am still risking less money on the day... Just two different schools of thought and strategies. Who is to say which one is better or not. Trying to get a good read of today's card as we speak... I can't sleep much out here. Too focused on my profession

CG - I have asked twice in this thread, and you have not responded.  But since its just me and you at this early hour - over a cup of coffee....

You say you hit in the high 50's and expect to be at 60.  Why is that?  Why are you able to pick in the high 50's, and why will you be able to maintain that?  Do you have a repeatable method?

I have been at this a long long time.  I feel like until you are able to answer the above question - with absolute certainty - you are just riding on variance.

Think about it - and see if you can answer it.

Believe me, the only reason why I was asking for your email or a number is because I am the same exact age, from NY, and have been thinking of doing what your doing honestly, for the last 3 years. But I have no friends who have the BALLS to take a chance in life. This really has been inspiring to watch bro, you have no idea. It sounds corny but I love the lifestyle too. 

I got to AC 3 times a month. I always get comped at Borgata or Trop and my routine is one you would probably love to follow. First, I get to my room, order my room service for food so I can study the games for the night in peace. Then I bet away and once the bets are locked up, I go to my seekingarrangement profile and find a hot young piece of behind to have for the night. Once she meets up with me I make her watch me play roulette or blackjack until I want to get a nut off LOL while watching my sports games.

Its the life, but to be in Vegas and have the print out tickets which I loved doing while I was there is the bomb! I hope you over exceed all your expectations and keep a + bankroll. You seem to have a good feel for the sports so keep doing YOU and never second guess yourself because of a post an amateur leaves on here...

You can be a jealous a$$hole and criticize someone for doing what you want to be doing or you can envy the person like I do because its a good form of jealousy. You want the best for the person and wish you were in their shoes. I would NEVER come on a thread and tell someone how to bet with THEIR money.

Yea, do what makes u happy in life.  too many ppl afraid of what others think of them and they end up just repeating the same pattern and wonder "what if?" 

that's the route I didn't want to go any longer after 5 years of the same grind out of college... 

that is why I moved out here to do what I LOVE and that is betting on sports.  It dosent hurt to live in this particular city either.. love vegas

Good morning bro.. I know u have asked that question to me a few times and I don't have a great answer for you to be honest.

I don't have a computer system that they say all the other pro's have etc..  I bet based on how I feel after researching a game.  I do look at trends etc which is a way I know a lot of ppl bet... but 90% of the time I bet on how I simply "FEEL" about a game.

now I have consistently hit at 57%, 58% in football and that was being at home in jersey frustrated with my job and betting every single weekend and on EVERY PRIMETIME game regardless of how I truly felt about the game or not.

Being more selective out here I feel I can hit even higher than that percentage, hence my 65% or whatever start after near 30 games in to the pro career.

my best sports too is FOOTBALL so if I can stay ahead of the game until football season then I feel we can really start to make our profitable move.

Bases without a doubt will be interesting.... no in baseball there are so many streaks and I have heard so many say to never bet against a streak and I agree with that theory...  obviously u have to cap the games but at the same time if u bet against a streak u can keep losing,,,,, if u bet WITH the streak you only lose once,...

Could be true and a good point but I have been doing this for years which makes me just honestly think I have a great read on games and am able to win at a very high % based on my own decisions and bets..
