yea scal agreed.
the thing that seperates people I think betting is just what you noted... can you as a bettor not think of it on a day to day basis and take ur lumps for a night?
that's where I feel I am evolving as a bettor because you can say to urself "well I kind of like this in the second half, or that and it's a 50/50 bet why not?"
but like u mentioned had I won the thought wouldn't even have came into my mind, but like u said I am proud I stayed away because it would def be a "forced job" as I call it meaning a forced play..
If you are a 'traditional capper', that is, spending hours on one or two games and studying the full game line, and that appears what you are based on your comments, then second halves shouldn't even be a consideration, especially at these amounts.
In very rare circumstances I play them if the Knicks are involved but I have all but completely eliminated from my betting for every other team and I am thankful I did.
Of course Van and Rangerz will disagree and think a play is a play if it offers 'value', I just find second halves offer too much false value. I also find the lines are very sharp and seem to be within 1 or 2 points of the second half line (too close for comfort).
There's another disadvantage. You can't shop for lines. I mean, you could hit it up the second it is posted but even then the line could jump in seconds.
Anyhow, I don't even see how you'd get the second half bet in if you were watching the Baylor game at home unless there is some Podunk casino that could be hit up 5 minutes away before the Strip.

The guy who believes in a 3 6 13 theory is calling rangerz an idiot.
OK.

Nice chart Bermax.
One thing though. CGs "bankroll" is also his "livingroll". So his running balance is decremented as his living expenses come in, and as MILFs need to eat.
I point it out simply because there is a monthly goal that has to be hit in order for him not to make a lifestyle change (ie job).

Let's say you play the Kings +8 over the Wizards. What if the Kings crap the bed right from the tip?
You didn't cap it as you said, and you chose a game where you couldn't exploit it with a middle or a ML shift in game.
This happens every night with bad teams.
Not sure why that is so attractive. You must be capping a dog to some degree to know the game could go to +ML territory for the favorite.
And I've seen in-game lines move. Dogs with pretty big leads early do not get the shifts in the ML and line to exploit. It's only late where they become solid lines. Too late for my comfort level.
