Agreed Ice=Man. Take the points, and buy it to 14 if your book has it set at a lower number.
I'm trepedations about the Giants still being a bit banged up. However, they now have two weeks to rest, and their rejuvenated secondary should be able to keep pace w/ the Pats receiving core. BOLA
Congrats to Michael Strahan and the rest of the Giants (even that choke-artist kicker of theirs).

I see it at 12.5... will probably go lower. It's still way too high. Should be around 7 in my mind. Count me among those who've lost on NE a few times down the stretch. Love the team, but don't love what they've done to my pocketbook in the postseason.

OK folks here we go again..................I said it last week that the odds of a team beating another team 3 times in a season is too great........no way the Pats beat the Giants for the 3rd time this season

I dont know how well Eli will do under that much pressure.... I also dont see pats winning by that much so my money will go on NYG and i might sprinkle a small moneyline for the giants too just like my gut told me to do for the game yesterday just incase they acutally win...(prob would involve brady breaking an arm or something but could still happen)

I like the GGGGGMEN,because the pressure is not Eli,I the the pressure is no Tom Brady.New York,I believe can run the ball against anyone and I like the front 4 matchup on both sides of the ball.I also like the over, after a 38-35 game three weeks ago, both these teams know each other well, and will hold nothing back.Unless Belichich changes his 2 deap coverage,Eli will make a lot of short passes to the outside and the Giants will run off tackle.Once again,Pats come from behind in a close one.
Pats 34 NY 31

Although a lot of people wanted to see the story book Super Bowl between a possibly last game for Favre against the unstoppable Patriots. IMHO the Giants are the better for this story book Super Bowl. Considering Eli always living in his brothers shadow and often criticized of his play and leadership on and off the field. The biggest part of the Giants story book Super Bowl and it seems at times that a few have already forgotten what took place on 9/11. If the Giants pull out a victory over the Patriots in the Super Bowl it will be such an uplifting experience for the city of New York.
The Patriots are also playing for a fallen player who was lost this season and for their chance to make history for being the 1st team going 19-0 out doing the '72 Dolphins undefeated season. If there is any team that can do it it would be this Patriot team.
This should be the Yankee vs Red Sox of football
Still a long way to go before I get my final lines on this game but considering this same Giant team almost beat these Patriots and the injured Giants should be a little more healthy for this game I'm leaning on taking the Giants.

Props to the Pats & Giants for making it this far

If one had bet a dime ML 1st game of the season on the Pats and rolled it over every week for 18 wks how much would you be up anybody know the answer? taking the best available line say.
As for the Super show most of us saw the same thing the giants played inspired football, brady looked like he was shagging it untill 5.00 in the morning gametime, tired almost pissed off and whipped from the start and the still he pulled it out.Almost like someone told him the script and he didn't like it but was going along but would not pretend to be happy

BigDaddy, I agree that the Giants v. Pats will be a good story and a good Super Bowl. But there's not way I would've preferred to see New York over Green Bay. Favre is THE MAN. I (along w/ most of the rest of the county) give two shits about Eli whatever sibling rivalry/ "older brother's shadow" storyline that the media wants to hype the game up with.
Eli seems so calm, he's almost aloof w/ this shit. I doubt he really cares that much. I mean, the guy is rich, he's young, box probably hurls itself at him left 'n' right . . . I reckon he's *like* to win a Super Bowl . . . but as far as all that other nonsense, I doubt he truly cares that much. I respectfully disagree that 'this is the better bowl', but I do agree that it will still be a heck of a match-up.

I would have love to see Favre win one more but I waited for a number of years for Marino to even get back into the Super Bowl and that never happened and it seems as though that Favre will never get the chance to go back again. The Packers are a young good team and will be back again one day but IMHO it will be without Favre.
Funny how you mention that Eli seems always calm because that's exactly the same way the Patriots are. You never know whether the Patriots are up 21 or down 21 points and I think that is a big advantage for them due to that they are never in a panic mode.
Eli has cost me some cash in his early years but he seems to be a different person as of late. Seems to have matured a bit as of late as well I noticed that he was probably the last to probably put on the NFC champs cap on and I'm not even sure if he did put it on not that it matters but just thought it seemed like a mature gesture towards Favre and the Packers.
Wasn't really stating that the Giants are playing for 9/11 I was just stating that it would be nice to see the city of New York have something positive turn out for them. I'm a Red Sox fan and there were times that a tiny drop of my blood had the urge to cheer for a Yankee victory in the World Series but we know how that went.
I like the Super Bowl match up and like I stated earlier the Giants might give the Patriots a run for their money.

i'm not a Giants fan at all but this has to be the dumbest post of the year perhaps. almost as dumb as "THE MAN" throwing an interception in OT

They have only played once in the regular season......I agree with the other person who pointed out that the pre-season doesn't count. Make no mistake about it.......the Giants can beat the Pats.......It will be interesting to see how far the spread will fall after opening at 14?
