Perhaps everyone is being kind enough to not suggest that there is a slight possibility that your interpretation of the rules is not exactly correct.
And actually in any case it really doesn't matter until the final day(s) of the contest when only a few who are not necessarily currently at or near the top of the leaderboard might take exception to any real or probably perceived injustice that may be occurring.
A blessed holiday season to you, and a peaceful new year.

It's a race. A race to 200 wins. That's all. If you were running a real race, finishing 2nd by a nose but had zig-zagged all over the place, you would have run faster and still lost. I've suffered thru the frustration of ties too, as I'm sure almost everyone has from time to time. Just like life, it all comes out even in the end - we all finish in the same place.

Doesn't it go by something silly like what time you made your last winning pick? That makes no sense to me. Seems like you would go by number of wins and then winning percentage or number of losses of something like that.

It's still BS. I made a pick this morning on a 7pm game that finished and won before anybody else. And STILL lost a place in the standings pending my other three picks.
WTF???

I think the tie breakers are only for the final standings. The list is like the college football standings were this year, only the final one is relevant.

The race will officially end after 50
participants have reached the 200-win mark. Throughout the race, the
following tie breaker will be used to rank users on the overall
leaderboard in the event that multiple users are tied with a specific
number of wins. If multiple users are tied, the earliest start time of
their last winning pick (game) will be used as the tie breaker (time as
listed on the pending page). As the second tie breaker, if users remain
tied, the earliest pick time that each of the contestants entered with
their last winning pick will be used to determine the leader. This will
be determined by a time stamp recorded when each pick is submitted.
I picked the earliest game, 7;00PM, as many did BUT I put my last winning pick in at 12:00AM and 5 seconds this morning.
Apparently fast enough to beat everybody to claim 5th place.
