I was just going to tweet my plays for the tourneys, but I remembered, that would probably be a bad idea or at least not be helpful since before there was ever twitter, there was good ole covers. Probably why I'm 3-7 to start in conf tourneys, haha. so I'm going to post for the tourney's, some posts may be more in-depth than others but none to the extent of bowl games, but away we go.
3-7 ats conf tourney
St Johns/Nova under 126
Miss st +6 if there is anyone i would take miss st against (and that is not a very long list, their program will be in trouble for a long time due to their administrations mistakes) it is SC. sc is more talented, but somehow, someway the bulldogs have a little Mo and SC gives up more than they score on avg so i'll take the points.
Lafayette +11
Rutgers +8 Rutgers played them pretty tough earlier and with a blowout under their belt i think they can keep this one close enough.
Utah +2 utah has really improved, swept the state of Oregon in last 2 games and usc has faltered a bit down the stretch and is shorthanded w/o dedmon, i like the utes to get their first pac12 tourney win.
Wash St. +3 wash st is much better than their record and all those close games finally broke through with win over ucla and a pasting of usc, they get one over the enigma that is the huskies so i'll gladly take the points.
AM/Auburn under 119
Boise St. +4 5 of last 6 and 9-1ats last 10, they were injured earlier on but now are full strength and are ballin'. their only loss last 6 was by 4 to unlv. love the way they are playing and playing sdsu for the 2nd time in a few days right after they just beat them, i'll take the Mo and the broncos and the points.
good luck all. let's roll through the conf tourneys for an appetizer then feast on the big boy next week.
as always..........let's drop'em

rutgers playing a lot of defense, lots of one and done's on their end, body language not good. looking for nd to deliver the knockout. but just in case, taking ML

Nc State / Va Tech OVER 146 they played once this year and the score was 90-86, nc st doesn't play very good defense and the leading scorer in the nation isn't going to be stopped by them. hokies are awful, but i don't trust nc state either. i think they will both get up and down and score a ton.
PItt ML -135 pitt has won 6 of the last 7 vs cuse and i've seen enough of cuse to know i don't trust them, they may make me eat those words in the tourney but i will have to learn the hard way. pitt plays great d and cuse has struggled to create offensively, and that starts w/ the pg. triche has really struggled. they have struggled offensively so I'm going the other way.
Michigan -14 we've seen what happened both times michigan was fav by dd over penn st and here we are right back there again. penn st closed the season on a very nice run and played extremely hard. michigan can hit the reset button on what was a shaky last part of the season, i think they blow the doors off penn st today and get that salty taste out of their mouth from their loss to these nittany lions and that game ending meltdown v indiana.

Arizona St. +5 going take the points with a lathered up team that played an OT game last night, has beaten ucla once and has a scorer on par w/ muhammed.

Colorado +5 buffs have playing pretty well lately, have won 10 of 14, beat arizona once and lost in OT to them. getting great guard play from dinwiddie, chen and are playing with a lot of confidence. they have a grit about them that i really like and i think they are tougher than az. I think they beat arizona but i'll gladly take 5.

Louisville -10 Under 126 they've quietly crept back up to that 1 seed line and have strung together some nice play over the past few weeks. nova beat them earlier yet are catching 10 here after a win last night. seems like they are beggin' for that nova money. nova has been playing some defense and liking some unders in this rough and tumble big east tourney.
