Betmagnet - KEEP TRACK OF ALL YOUR BETS

There is a new free service called Betmagnet (www.betmagnet.com). It is designed for serious punters to easily keep track of all their wagers and to see all the important personal betting statistics. It is pretty unique, I don't think there is anything like it anywhere else on the Internet (particularly not free of charge).

The point is that you can keep track of all the bet details you consider important. Not only the picks, odds and stakes, but also the sportsbook, sport, contest and - perhaps most importantly - the source that inspired you to place the bet.

Also, if you are betting in various currencies, you will find Betmagnet especially helpful because it will automatically count all the values in your main currency converted with current exchange rates.

After entering the bets you can easily settle them and then look at your results and stats - combined or split by any criteria available. That way you can see at which sportsbook you are doing well, which sports are the most successful for you and which sources (friends, betting forums, blogs etc.) bring you the biggest profit - and which of them actually bring you losses.

As stated, the service is completely free. You can also try it before you register a serious account - just login with username guest and password guest.

BTW can you tell me what you mean by "these post". If there is a website where you can keep track of all your bets with all the details I mentioned, I'd love to know about it.

I am smart enough to track my own bets. I don't need a "nanny" to help me keep my books. CASE CLOSED !!!!!!!!

 

Of course you are. Is anybody holding a gun to your head and forcing you to use this service?

The point is that someone else might want to keep record of his or her bets in a prepared environment which they don't have to create all by themselves, which is accessbile from anywhere and which has many features to make all this much easier than e. g. doing it in an Excel spreadsheet.

We really haven't heard about such service before and we just decided that it might be a good idea to create one if we can.

A new section called "Betting Tools" has been added to the main page of Betmagnet.

The first tool available is Odds Converter: https://www.betmagnet.com/tools-odds.php

It will help you convert between decimal (EU), american (US) and fractional (UK) odd types quickly and easily. More useful betting tools are coming soon!

Our new Foreign Exchange Calculator will help you convert between any two currencies which are available on Betmagnet. If you specify the time of the conversion, you can use historical exchange rates to conduct the conversion. A link to the Foreign Exchange Calculator can be found among Betting Tools on the main page of Betmagnet.

Also a value calculator has been added to the Odds Converter. It will show you whether the odds you are converting have value based on your estimation of the chances of winning of the pick you are considering.

Good news for our users in Slovakia: copying slips from Fortuna SK and Tipsport SK is now available. You can suggest more sportsbooks which offer public links to slips and we will try to add them to make entering slips into Betmagnet easier.

A small change has been made in Betmagnet's behaviour. Originally, after you edited a slip it was returned among open bets and you had to enter the results again. Now all the picks and the whole slip will remain settled as they were before editing the slip. You can comment on this change here or on our message boards.

Today we launched the all new Personal Settings where you can customize the look and behaviour of some parts of Betmagnet. In the first phase you can show/hide columns in the My Bets section. More options will follow soon. A link to Personal Settings is located in the upper right corner of every page after logging in.

Our community is growing fast and we wanted to give you a sneak peek at some aggregate numbers. Therefore we slightly rearranged our home page and added a new "Betmagnet Info" box with information about the number of slips that our users have entered into their personal Betmagnet databases. We expect to reach 5000 slips added by our users in a single month in November. Thank you to all of our valued users!

A new way to look at your results has been added. Just visit the section My Results - Overview and bet types and you will see a new table and a graph that split your bets by type: single, parlay and system. In other news we have fixed automatic slip copying from Tipsport CZ and Tipsport SK to adjust to the new version of their website.

Two new features have been added to My Bets. Filtering of the slips by the name of contest and by the text of pick has been improved. You can now choose if the specified string has to be contained or if is has to exactly match the respective column of the slip. A column called "Original Odds" has been added to the slips - in your Settings you can choose to show it in the My Bets table. Please consult the contextual help or this forum thread to understand the difference between "odds" and "original odds" of the slip.

Another way to look at your results has been added. Just visit the section My Results - Show By: Odds and you will see a new table and a graph that split your results by odds. You can adjust the odds spans in your Settings.

In other news we have significantly improved the performance of Betmagnet. You should experience much quicker loading times especially on the main page and in the section My Sportsbooks.

All information about each pick (source, starting time, sport, contest, odds) can now be shown in My Betssection right next to each pick. Just visit your personal Settings and you will see five new tickers below "Picks" where you can choose to show whichever information you want.

Is is now possible to easily distinguish between long-term and short-term bets in your Betmagnet database. When creating a new slip or editing an old one, you can mark the slip as long-term. The slip will be marked with a calendar icon (). You can filter long-term bets in My Betssection as well as look at your results from long-term and other bets in My Results section.

All tables in My Results are now sortable by simply clicking on column headers. This should help you understand your statistics even better. Finding out which sport, source, day or any other criteria were the most or least profitable for you in a certain timeframe is now easier than before.
